My husband and I had lunch here today. My husband got the El Girasol which was very good. The steak and chicken were very tasty and moist. The 5 shrimp were very small but they were good as well. I received the Fajitas. I was very much disappointed. The steak was cut so thinly it reminded me if strings of beef Jerry as was the vegetables. They were all very well seasoned but for $18.00 I was expecting Fajitas as I get everywhere else. The Fajitas dis come with rice and beans and a few slices of avocado and a bery small (paper cup same as one would fill ketchup for your fries) thin sour cream. It seemed that they wanted to make the dish look like it had more steak than what it did by cutting it so thin. If you are like me, you would miss the steak tooth-feel as you bite into the steak and veggies filled flour/corn tortillas. If that is what you like, just be warned, do NOT get the Fajitas. The flour tortillas were good but the corn tortillas were such better! They were definitely homemade. The waitress was very nice and made herself available to us, filling our water and asking us if there were any other culinary needs. I truly could not ask for a better waitress. I think I will stick to my birrias when I eat there and take a bite of my husband's steak and chicken to satisfy...
Read moreOutstanding all the way around! Some friends and I had lunch here today and was a bit skeptical due to some of the reviews. I'm happy to say that the service we received was impeccable, food was outstanding with large portions, with the queso and salsa being homemade and delicious. The friends I was with did comment they were served the nacho cheese last time but the restaurant took notice and definitely changed - the queso was absolutely delicious. Their steak quesadillas, taco plate, and burritos were all amazing. Definitely will be a place I'll look forward to frequenting again and would recommend to anyone, based on my experience today, that has any hesitation. I think you'll be as...
Read moreGot here 5 minutes after this restaurant opened. The waitress allowed us to seat ourselves. We were offered the normal spread of chips, salsa, and queso. Here is when the issues began. The chips are 100% store bought. So is the watery salsa. But the biggest let down was the queso. It is literary nacho cheese. That's right! What Mexican restaurant in their right mind uses nacho cheese sauce for their queso? But we stayed. We ordered off the very limited lunch menu. 3 of the 8 choices were enchiladas. I got the steak enchiladas and they I enjoyed them. Same with the rice. The rice is why I gave more than a 1 star review. I'm serious...
