We were a party of 6 (Family of 4 and Family of 2) on Thanksgiving night. They did not have a lot of the items on the menu given that it was during the evening after a busy day. Our waitress, Angela, seemed annoyed when we asked what was still available from the items on the menu. They were still serving the Thanksgiving dinner ($15.99 for adults) so we ordered this plate for 3 of the adults. It included a non-alcoholic drink but the menu said that it could be substituted by a limited selection of alcoholic beverages for an additional charge of $3.49. My wife tried to do this but the waitress told her that alcohol was not included in the meal and that she would have to order a separate drink. When we pointed out the option to substitute the drink on the menu, the waitress got annoyed and upset so we just decided to skip the Mimosa. Then we tried to order the child's Thanksgiving dinner ($8.99) for my son but she said that "they were out". We again pointed at the menu and told her that it was the exact same dinner as the adult plate (smaller portion and no casserole) but she got extremely angry that we questioned her and started raising her voice. By the way, we were super friendly and laid back when we inquired about the menu. We spoke with one of the managers and the manager clarified that the child's Thanksgiving dinner was in fact available for selection. The manager apologized for the misunderstanding and made sure that this plate was added to our order. From this point forward, the waitress Angela was slamming our drinks on the table, she only brought one soda refill without ice and slammed it so hard that I thought it was going to spill. She slammed our plates on the table unapologetically (so much so that other tables were looking as if a plate had fallen on the floor). The Thanksgiving dinner included pumpkin pie but she yelled at us that they were out and "there's nothing I can do". We waited around 20 minutes until we finally caught her attention and asked if we could have the pecan pie (we saw other tables had it). She yelled "no pie, no pie!", slammed the check on the table and walked away. We wanted to empathize and initially attributed her attitude to being tired after a very busy day and night but we saw her being friendly and "normal" to other tables around us, including a party of 10 sitting directly behind us. After we got up and left, she finally brought pecan pies on to-go plates as we were walking out of the dining area. We would have wanted to finish our family meal in the restaurant so I don't know why she didn't bring them out at first. At this point, there were no people waiting to be seated and the restaurant was about 3/4 full, so there should have been no hurry to get us out of there. Multiple times she walked away from our table while we were still mid-sentence trying to talk to her, which is probably more rude than the drink/plate-slamming. We discussed this experience as a family trying to self-evaluate and find out if we did anything that would warrant the treatment we received that night, but could not come up with anything. We were super friendly and understanding with Angela throughout the night. We were grateful that this restaurant was open on Thanksgiving Day and the food was pretty good, but this was the worst table service that we've ever received at any restaurant. We still don't understand what happened. I can only speculate at this point. We are not local to Oklahoma but we are a military (Hispanic) family that has lived in many different places all over the United States. My children were watching and unfortunately had to deal with the other side of the...
Read moreWowwwww, this location was super busy in the store and restaurant, KUDOS!!!! It never fails!! No matter what location I visit, I am always cold!! Excellent customer service, Mac G!!!! You were very successful with the assignment; you were very attentive!!! Now, I had an issue with my food. I ordered soft scrambled eggs with my order. It was as if the shell was cracked, the egg was flipped, cheese added, flipped again, and sent out. Mac G had my eggs recooked because they were runny. They 2nd order was brought to the table; they were cold and still not cooked thoroughly[full plate yoke runny, bottom left of eggs; 2nd order, egg white not cooked]. I ate what I could without regenerating it up. After finishing, I wanted Mac G to show the manager. She asked if I wanted it taken off the ticket. I told her no, that I only wanted the manager to be aware. Someone came to the table of our party of twelve (12), to which I was not aware it was the manager, he left without speaking with me. Mac G came back and asked if I had spoken with the manager. I told her no! She then stated that she would go and get him. After a couple of minutes, he never showed. I went to pay out and then thought, no, let me locate him. I did!!! After voicing my issues, he came with all kinds of justifications: the particular cheese used; cooking on the grill, no one using a grill will get it right, asking if I had my eggs cooked on a grill before; to him cooking them himself. I caught myself with my mouth open in dismay. Before I began walking off, I explained that this was the first time I had ever had an issue with my request. And, yes, I have visited restaurants that used a 'grill' with no problems. He stated, I can take it off your ticket if you like [as if I was looking to have an issue to receivea free meal] I stated, "No", I just wanted to bring to his attention. My suggestion: Apologize and take accountability. We do not get it right all the time!!! Your location was busy; it was...
Read moreI want to specify that this is not about the restaurant. It is about the app and then the call center that answered the phone when I called the restaurant to place my order I attempted to use the app multiple times and it kept giving me an error code saying I needed to add a soup, I then went to my desktop to place my order and it did the same thing saying I needed to add a soup. I think the telephone number to the restaurant, Which I didn’t know at the time, Sent me to A call center I requested my drink without ice and she would say I’m sorry I can’t do that. I asked her if I could get dark meat for my chicken and she would say I’m sorry there’s no way for me to tell the kitchen that and they’re very busy so they’re not gonna be able to just give me dark meat, she told me that in case she loses our connection on the phone to call back the restaurant number and press three and that will put me directly through to the Restuarant. That’s how I knew I was on the phone with the call center . Trying to do my order on the app multiple times thinking it was just a fluke then going to my computer to try to place my order then going through the call center was a hassle and took longer than it should’ve. Once I got in touch with an employee of the restaurant. The order went smooth. We got everything in our order when we picked it up and it was good. Cracker Barrel fix your app. Also I don’t want to talk to a call center. I want to talk to my local store that I’m doing business with when I place my order. I was so Frustrated and disappointed with this experience. by the way, when did you get rid of the hamburger steak and your roast beef? I was already disappointed whenever the grilled chicken tenderloin sandwich was removed. I can’t believe you got rid of the...
