Me my diabetic fiance and my disabled friend checked in on April 1st 2024 on Monday and check out with today April 5th 2024 Friday we were here for 4 nights and in that time we have had many issues starting with the issue of them checking a group of strangers into our room on the first night in the middle of the night when my diabetic fiance was home there alone then starting with the keys not working for the ice / laundry room then our room keys have been deactivated at least four times in the 4-day period we were here this morning we were woke up and a knock on her door and I said oh do you need my sheets and stuff they said yes I said okay here you go they said is everything there I said yes they said well there's anything missing I'm going to charge you just straight off first thing rude and accusing me of being a thief and my people first things first I'm no thief nor am I a liar while I was here I saw several cockroaches in my room and during this 4-day I've only had one day of service from motel staff housekeeping today they returned us to receipts to which neither were ours do they have the room number 132 I was room 130 one receipt was 2 weeks old one was one week old and it was to the people next door to us they refused to give us our deposit back of $40 and accused us of being thieves and liars trying to say that we owe them $194 more dollars and that we had to pay them it wasn't until about a half hour to an hour later when my fiance had been sitting outside in the parking lot waiting for me and my friend to get back offering people $25 for a ride down to the homeless alliance in Oklahoma City Oklahoma only 15 mi from us add to which no one did we ended up having to call the police officers and they also we're not able to take us home as I was sitting here getting very upset with myself and everything around me going on I pulled out the two receipts and show them to my fiance who then brought to our attention that the room number was 132 and not room 130 it also showed that the the amounts on the pay that we're not only approved but show that they didn't match up with the payment that we had paid and been approved for and did not have to pay anything more to pay anymoreso I went back in and we situated a little bit and they still wanted to kind of argue but said that it was their mistake there sorry but then they didn't and could not find my deposit when finally the one that accused us of being a thief and what not is the one that then pulled out their money back and gave me my $40 deposit do I believe that this is the only money I should have been giving no I believe I should get at least half of my money is for the stay that I spent be all the drama that was sent towards us and given to us and not only that but we lost $20 so now we don't have no more money except for the one that is going to go to the cab once we are able to get one to come out here I rate this star one but honestly I don't even want to give it one because to my eyes they were nothing but disrespectful there was no service it was not the greatest out here and to be quite honest with you I feel a little disgraced discriminated against and felt like it was because I was a white guy and so were my people I have made a complaint to better bureau Business and I plan on making a formal complaint online soon my name is Zane I vouch for anybody that tries to stay at this location you do not want to stay here unless you feel like getting ripped off and discriminated against there are plenty of other hotels motels and extended stay places around this one tiny motel to all power in all y'all go somewhere else and stay clear from this motel that is the motel 6 off of I-35 service road Oklahoma...
Read moreI checked in. Was told I would have a room on the 3rd floor. I said I had to totally unload my truck as I had a PU and most of my stuff was in the bed. Therefore I would have to make at least 3 trips upstairs. Well, that was just the way it was. Did not give me any reason like that was the only room left or something of that accord. Well it was late and I said okay. Then I said I thought I got a senior citizen discount. Oh well not if I book on line and she couldn't change it. Well she could but she might get in trouble. So then I go to the room and the AC didn't work. Oh dear, now I have to take all this stuff downstairs to the car. Well wait, I will call the front desk and maybe they can just move me down the hall a bit. No, wrong. It was change of shift and I would just have to wait. He didn't really care about my dilemma or anything. He was very rude. I took all my belongings and put them in the car as he said I would have to turn in the key before he gave me another one. I explained I was on the 3rd floor. He didn't care. Well I had seen a motel for a few dollars cheaper down the road. I looked them up and called them and they were very polite and said they had a room. I thought I would go see what the man at the front desk had to say. He continued rude and was not about to give me my Sr. discount. He actually could care less if I stayed or if I went. I asked for a refund and got it and went on down the road. The accommodations were a bit nicer than Motel 6. They had a small refrigerator and microwave. They were cleaner and the attendant was very friendly and polite. And it was cheaper and I got my Sr. discount.
Regarding the cleanliness of your establishment, granted I did not spend the night but what I saw, I was appalled at. The hallways were filthy as was the elevator. I only saw the room briefly so cannot make an assessment on it. How hard is it to clean an outside hallway and an elevator? Not hard at all and cleanliness really makes an impression.
Anyhow let me say I had to come back through this way on my way back to Houston on Sunday night. I was most happy to know that I had a place to stay right down the road form you.
Most probably had I not been treated with such indifference from the night clerk and the evening clerk would have tried a bit harder to give me my Sr. discount and a room on the 1st floor I would have spent Sunday...
Read moreThe pros are The rooms are remodeled and are quiet nice in good condition and clean. My sheets always smelled as if they had just been washed. Housekeeping does an excellent job!!! I give 4 stars to them however motel 6 has the rudest manager as well as check in employees the manager will physically put his finger in ur face and scream at you loudly for simple requests such as changing a room due to heavy noise in the room next to yours anytime you disagree with him or anything about the hotel he becomes very loud and violent. The main check in clerk should be ashamed of himself pertaining to how he speaks to customers he is always rude will roll his eyes at you and shows complete disregard to what you are asking of him. he does nothing to assure his guests are treated with respect and there needs are met. There's always lots of people hanging around outside at odd times such as 3 am etc. If you plan to stay for a couple days make sure you pay before check out time or literally 5 mins after checkout time the desk clerk will come banging and I do mean banging on your door screaming are you staying or going it's past checkout smh. 5 mins past checkout? ...so not necessary. I don't believe it's the hotels location or appearance inside or out that is a problem it's the consistent lack of proper customer service and the extreme attitudes by the staff and manager.. motel 6 please do better you can't expect your guests to feel comfortable and welcomed when your staff talks to them inappropriately and shows no true...
