Well reading reviews on google i thought this would be a good place to try as being from out of town and love me some good bbq. I ordered online probably took me about 15 mins to get there and they hadnt even got my order yet was just writing it down. No biggie im a career chef i understand the ins and out of the buisness. Stafd was very nice and courtious. Got the food to the hotel was not impressed the pulled pork was good but absent the smoke flavor i crave when i think of bbq. the rolls were delicious. However the brisket was horrible. It was tough and dry. Had a bark on it that was more from being burnt in the bottom of a pan or something but no smoke rings had a bitter after taste and no smoke flavor to speak of. I have on many occasions cooked better brisket in my oven at home. There was little to no love in the brisket. It was not good. Sausage was sausage and there was a little smoke flavor to it. Potato salad was common store bought type potato salad probabl resers brand. Mac and cheese was ok. Overall i gave two stars becuase bbq is a love affair, its an art and this place has missed the mark. If it wasnt for the friendly staff ot would be a 1 star review. Being in the food buisness i normally dont mess with reviews i understand the preasures put on restrauntuers but if you dont love your food your place will be empty. The previous review was after the manager on duty took it upon himself to replace my order with what they had avail not what I ordered. I wasn’t made aware that they were out of burnt ends and when I said I wanted a refund my options were just exchanged. They did a great job of correcting the issue. I went back again one day before close and the two female employees debated who had more work left to do and who would serve us. I ordered delivery Sunday and I got 3 meals all with sweet tea. When the drinks showed up they were all water. I called and was told the door dash driver fills up the drinks, WHAAAAATTTTT, and the tea was made wrong that day. They said “so what do you want a refund” I said I guess yes a refund for the drinks at least. So they gave me the “give your name and number and we’ll call with the refund.” We it’s been processed thru my account and no phone call. Fool me once.... won’t be back again.......................................................... SERVICE IS ABOVE AND BEYOND!!!!!!!!! They know how to make a messed up situation all the way right! Read moreI think you are inundated with food choices in OKC and my perspective is I’ll take semi great food but you better bring the customer service. My first experience and it isn’t going well. I ordered online for curbside pickup and not only arrived early but sat until 10 min after my pickup time with no one responding. I went inside and not only was my order setting on a rack but the employees were also setting at a table visiting. Clearly you read the order to fulfill it but no one bothered to complete the order. Again, customer service might not be everyone’s thing but I can easily spend my money somewhere that values that customers can eat anywhere in today’s world. I know competition is out there so do something that sets you above the rest or at least equal. You dropped the ball here folks. I’ll add that even the receipt stapled to my order said curbside and time, yet it sat on the rack because no one cared.
