We dined in during their soft opening. Where do I begin? We ordered the seafood tower.
As you can see, it looks pretty basic. I recommended that they rethink this seafood tower concept. For the price (almost $100 for small), there should be black ice smoke, a giant lobster tail (instead of sliced) and more flavor. There was this soy vinegrette sauce that came with it. FIRE! OMG! One thing Chef Lee always knocks out of the park are his sauces!!
We had the Denver Wagyu Steak. OHMYGOD! BEST Wagyu steak Ive ever had! And for the price!? HELLYES. The steak was so flavorful, so juicy, the crust was perfect and it was perfectly cooked to my liking without having to cut into it to confirm. We had choices of sauces we can add. I tried the Galbi Peppercorn and the Chimichurri. OMG THE GALBI PEPPERCORN SAUCE CHANGED MY LIFE! It tastes soooo good! The steak didnt need sauce, but that peppercorn sauce made the steak even more fire! I am not exagerating. YOU GOT TO TRY IT. We ordered a side of mash to pair with the steak. I also enjoyed the mash! It was smooth the onions on top was a great idea. So good!
We also tried the rolls (appetizer). That spicy butter is very unique and brings the korean culture in light and we loved it.
Finally, the desert. OMG the desert we had! It was a strawberry ice cream desert. It had SO MANY layers and textures to it. I never had anything like it. We saw our neighbor devour theirs and we had to get one too. It was so damn good! Chef Lee what the heck!
Although it can get pretty pricey, we are definitely going back when we...
Read moreFrom the moment you walk in , your greeted. The ambiance is perfect. We knew there were no reservations for an earlier time so we sat at the bar at 5, it was very empty at this time so the bar was wide open and it’s full service. We started with some drinks, the Volt and the Sour. We chose Parker Rolls and Korean Fried chicken. The rolls come with this unique Chili crunch honey butter, these warm flaky rolls are delicious, as was the juicy amazing Korean chicken. We decided on a filet and the American Waygu Ribeye with shareable sides, mashed potatoes and salt and pepper fried green beans. The steak was cooked chefs temp they say which is medium rare, and it was 10/10, no sauce or anything extra needed. For dessert, we had to get the Strawberry and cream Bingsu. The dessert was like a snowy heaven, amazing!! One of the first things we noticed was the camaraderie amongst the team members, everyone helping out everyone with a smile and no attitude at all. You don’t find that these days. To put the icing on the cake, the one and only Chef Kevin Lee came by and asked how everything was. Everything...

I’ve been following Chef Kevin Lee since his Birdies days up north, so I was excited to finally try his new spot, Maht — and it absolutely delivered. Kevin has created something truly special here.
From the moment we walked in, the service was exceptional. Our waitress — I believe her name was Erin — gave us some of the best service we’ve received in a long time. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu.
I ordered the American Wagyu steak, topped with black garlic butter, and it was honestly one of the best steaks I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked, deeply flavorful, absolutely memorable. My girlfriend went with the braised short rib, and she said it was the best rib she’s ever tasted — melt-in-your-mouth tender and packed with rich flavor.
Chef Kevin continues to raise the bar, and Maht proves he’s only getting better. Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an elevated, unforgettable...
