I have been coming here and sending people here for 20 years. Over the last 10 I have been getting my food to go but wanted to take my boyfriend to my most favorite Thai restaurant yesterday. What we got was treated terribly we ordered an entrée each as well as a starter soup and an appetizer. It took 30 minutes to get the soup another 20 minutes to get his entrée and another 15 minutes to get the appetizer in my entrée. I was talked disrespectfully to when I explained that that’s not how food happens and was told how fast the food could be cooked and why it all came out at different times. I have worked in restaurants my whole life and I’ve never gotten my entrée an appetizer after my other guest got theirs and were done eating. Was it the fact that we were the only white people in the restaurant? Because it wasn’t my polite and excited demeanor. The best part is we paid $50 for this experience. When I boxed up my untouched curry it didn’t even fill 1/3 of the normal to go serving I would’ve gotten if I would’ve gotten my food to go. It was so salty I could not eat it.

Now, my boyfriend is physically violently ill. The only thing I didn’t cook him was the food he ate last night. So you gave us rotten food that was poorly cooked poorly executed and you had an empty restaurant. But apparently it was still fun to rip people off and then make them sick in the process. Thank you for destroying a 20 year favorite restaurant. And during a time when supporting local small restaurants is key I no longer will...

Regrettably, my recent experience was not satisfactory. I visited the place during the lunch rush, a circumstance I accepted without complaint. Additionally, I did not object to the consolidation of my large group order into a single container nor did i had a problem with employee deliver one of my orders to another patron, resulting in a prolonged wait for the preparation of my own order. However, I found issue with the conduct with the said employees behavior. While I understand the possibility of being overwhelmed during peak hours, I was troubled by the lack of follow-up after being told that they will come back with an estimated wait time and just disappears leaving me standing at the counter, instead of just properly communicating with me. Upon querying the employee about the wait, I received a response indicating a high volume of orders, which I comprehended. However, I would have preferred for them to verify the wait time (since i place the order 45 mins prior) rather than simply stating the workload and then disappearing. Subsequently, when my name was called, I anticipated completing my transaction but was disregarded in favor of attending to other patrons and just the said employee just leaves and does not saying anything. Another employee comes in finally and was at least decent enough to communicate the problem. But unfortunately this initial encounter with the other employee left a sour experience. I didnt feel welcomed or...

Has any of us experienced the most authentic Thai food yet? If you haven’t, Thai House has earned that title.

We were here for dinner and the food was so delicious. Each bite brought me back to the origin place of Thai food. Each bite of the grilled squid reminds me of the Thai street food that I tried deliciously in Bangkok. Each bite of the soft-shell crab in curry sauce brought me back to the 5-star dining experience that I had in the hotel by the Chao Phraya River. The crispy catfish is unbeatable. Those amazing dishes filled us up and we still can’t resist the not-so-sweet and creamy mango sticky rice.

This is not just a dinner, it is a dining experience for those who have traveled to Thailand and want to experience the same in Oklahoma.

The restaurant is decorated with real fresh flowers, even during frozen winter. That is definitely such a nice and thoughtful touch by the owner, auntie Panoi, who dedicated her 28 years in making authentic Thai food and makes it the best.

Most importantly, she always home-makes the food and cooks them wholeheartedly with great quality, with her secret recipes that you will always come back for more.

Oklahoma is proud to have this restaurant right in the heart of the city. With the personal touch and passion for food, they have lasted for nearly 3 decades in Oklahoma City and it is not deniable that they have won the title One of the best 100 Thai restaurants...

My family and I visited this place a 2nd time, and decided to post this review. Born in Bangkok, I’m pretty picky about my Thai food :). I’d give this place 3.5 - 4 stars. Pluses: pretty authentic dishes for the most part - extensive use of fish sauce, which is mostly a good thing. Availability of Tod Mun Pla - only place in OKC that has this, our favorite appetizer. Wife also loves Kao Soi - which we can rarely find elsewhere. The Thai egg rolls and Thai iced tea were also really good. La’ab and other dishes we ordered the first time around were also good. Prices were decent for what you get - portions were okay. Service is good overall - waiters were very soft spoken but attentive. Ambience is okay - could use an updating, esp giving it a more Thai feel. Misses: inconsistent with their food. This last time we ate (this past weekend), the Tod Mun Pla was too salty (likely an excess of the red curry paste used), and some of our dishes were not as bold flavored as before. We will likely return - but would recommend to the staff to monitor and taste the flavors to make sure the Thai flavor comes through strong without being too salty or too bland.

I recently dined at Thai House Restaurant and it was a fantastic experience. I ordered the Thai basil fried rice with chicken and a Thai iced tea, and both were absolutely delicious. The Thai basil fried rice was packed with flavor and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The dish had just the right amount of spice and the basil added a wonderful aroma. The portion size was generous and it was served piping hot. The Thai iced tea was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. It was sweet and creamy, with a hint of spice that complemented the flavors of the fried rice. The service at Thai House Restaurant was also excellent. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure that I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Overall, I highly recommend Thai House Restaurant for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine. The food is delicious, the service is great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I will definitely be returning.
