McAlister's Deli — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Tired of going to a McAlister's and not having the drinks already made when picking up someone's doordash order. Also on top of this last time they were out of lemonade. They wanted me to call the customer because THEY were out of the drink. I am tired of having to call a customer especially if the customer ends up yelling at me for something when it is the store's fault for not having the drinks ready/available. The store should have called the customer if they were out of something before the dasher arrives. Waited at least 5 mins for the food and still no drinks made. I tried to ask for them to make the drinks before I got the food. Of course they didn't. So I just left with the food on what was available. Like to add it took me roughly 10 mins just to drive to this store when the order was offered to me. Waited 5+ mins for the food at store with no drinks made. Roughly 2-4 mins to drop it off from the store. I waited longer at the store then driving to drop it off. I had have issues like this at the other location off of 19th street so I know it is not just this location. McAlister's really need to up their game when it comes to drinks. Never filling the drinks up until the driver arrives. Sometimes can cause food just sitting out getting cold. Also seem there is only 1 employee up at the front counter so you also have to wait if they are helping someone else. So it makes it worse when no drinks are ready but the food is. No dasher or delivery driver should have to wait longer then 5 mins on drinks. We don't get payed enough to wait. I get if it is food but drinks is a big NO. Do better...

My husband and I have my father in law staying with us as a guest. Unfortunately, my car is now in the shop and I took advantage of ordering delivery. I ordered directly through the McAlister's site, doordash delivers when you order online through the site. I spent $35 for 3 meals, $7-$8 each, delivery fees, etc... I always tip well. I get my order and half of my pick 2 is missing, no salad. The half I DID get, the box was completely turned sideways (and tilted back) in the bag, so all the dressing had dripped everywhere and my sandwich was soggy and the veggies weren't staying in the bread. I didn't get to enjoy my meal WITH my family, I only got half, and the half received, inedible. They only want to replace the pick 2, which I had to pay delivery on. This wasn't Doordash's fault, this was on the restaurant. This is the 2nd delivery of McAlister's, both times an issue. I guess they aren't as concerned with the quality or review's if we aren't in person to call them on it? I didn't say anything on the first one, I figured mistakes happen. Having had the Deli items before in a different state.... I knew what to expect food wise-Good sandwich menus. Line was stacking up and A taller gentleman came to the front register to get my order lightning fast.(1 star +) He was super awesome and even whipped up the gallon of tea my dad decided to order late. Our food took super long to get prepared for some reason... When I say super long I mean 10+ minutes.( - 2 stars ) All items came out accurate and hot (1 star +) chicken tortilla soup was tasty, spicy chicken sandwich was delicious, Caesar salad was crisp and green! Big minus was with the tortilla chips for the soup... My hand sealed bag had a Penny in it. If the penny was supposed to be in there - Cool! But just me thinking about how MANY hands not washed had contact with the penny... Chips didn't get eaten. (- 1 star). Overall my visiting family was not impressed with the speed of service for the price paid...even though I got a penny back. We might give this McAlisters Deli a little time before returning.
