Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

Worst customer service, timing, and accuracy. I have tried several times with this location. I have maybe had one accurate and timely order delivered. This time I asked for 2 extra garlic butters which I paid for... Upon delivery when the employee just threw me a crumbled up credit card slip to sign I check my box.... Only 2 garlic butters and his response was uhhh I just deliver the pizza. Are you kidding me? They don't check orders for accuracy or think thatI should get what I paid for. I get they are only 50 cents, but I ordered it so they should deliver. The time before I asked for extra garlic butter and the driver said he forgot them, and would be back within 30 minutes with them. He never showed up... We waited which means our pizza was cold. Then called the location to see where he was, and then the manager got on the phone. She was the night time manager and worst customer service of all time. This goes to the employee who answered first. The manager put me on hold for four minutes, told me I was wrong, that the driver never said he would be back... SO basically the customer was a liar and she believed her worker. She was an evening manager. I had to drive to the location the next day to get the rest of my order where the working manager apologized and said she is working on getting better staff. The driver tonight said that he " just delivers the pizza" Which means he isn't even checking the orders. The ticket showed my extra items yet he didn't think I needed them. My friend bought me a Papa John's pizza for us to share for Father's Day.

We have been friends for 30 years and she knew that the last time I'd had a Papa John's pizza was in Greeley, Colorado before 2010.

The truth is I had forgotten all about Papa John's until Saturday when we were at the $5Below store next door to get pool noodles.

Anyway long story short.. (Too Late) She observed how excited I got when I saw Papa John's so she ordered a pizza and we picked it up after church.

It was even better than I remembered from Colorado. The stuffed cheese crust was perfect, not too much cheese or crust like other places, just the right amount, and the garlic butter dipping sauce was the best I've had, except when I've made it myself.

The toppings were all fresh tasting and the dough was the perfect texture.

I am not a pizza guy at all, and can normally go years and years without it.

Apparently that was only because I'd forgotten about Papa John's and did not know there was one here.

Now that I've become reacquainted I plan on becoming a steady customer because it turns out the only reason I wasn't a pizza guy is because there is so much bad pizza out there.

Papa John's is different.

The flavor was exquisite and every single bite was a symphony of flavor, and I am not just spewing hyperbole here.

If you do not consider yourselves 'pizza people' maybe it's because you have not tried Papa John's lately.

If I could give them more than five stars I would.

I know papa johns is “fast food pizza”🍕 but first off i would LOVE TO GIVE A SHOUTOUT to DOLORES🤩👋✨ She alone made the whole experience a genuine one i never would have expected to experience with papa johns (or any fast food place in general) She was not only handling store by herself foh & boh (not including driver) But as well was HAULING i mean LITERALLY HAULING FAST safely/efficiently making orders as well as greeting & holding genuine conversation with customers! WOW! Was genuinely so impressed by her hard work & beyond KIND & CARING Customer Service. Yall i was out with friends, & there’s definitely a few papa johns locations closer to home, but i FOR SURE will be coming back to this location specifically, just for her energy especially! Yall give that woman a raise/gratitude appreciation. Was my first time ever entering this location, & yall got a good woman representing good energy for your company! Was so impressed! Also Environment was SUPER clean too, (just recently moved over here from moore area, most restaurants in moore honestly struggle with sanitation badly, SO THIS WAS SUPER REFRESHING TO SEE.) We ordered through the phone for pickup, the call center took our order not the actual store, we did have a problem with the call center misinforming us with a deal that was available, (call centers fault NOT Dolores/store) Dolores had an amazing POSITIVE ATTITUDE and solved our issue FAST, NO PROBLEM, & even assured us it was a easy fix!
