Updated Review: I went back to this Arby's to give them another chance. Suffice it to say that the service has improved. BUT, the food was absolutely terrible. I ordered a half-pound roast beef sandwich meal with large curly fries. Firstly, the container of the curly fries was barely half full when I opened the bag. Second, and more troubling, the bottom bun of the sandwich was soaking wet with warm water. Also, the roast beef in the sandwich was waterlogged and tasteless. I want to support local businesses, but this store just can't seem to get it together. I will just continue to patronize the Arby's up on 119th St in North Olathe.
Original Review: My son and I chose to dine in at Arby's yesterday afternoon. After standing at the counter for nearly ten minutes before being acknowledged by any of the employees, one of them (taller lady with glasses) very brusquely looked at me and asked, "Can I HELP YOU?". My son and I were a bit taken aback by this, but we wanted to have some Arby's sandwiches, so we stayed and gave her our order. The employees definitely prioritized the drive-thru customers as we waited another 15 minutes before the same gal asked "What are you waiting on?" I told her "We're still waiting for our order, ma'am." Finally, another employee gathered our order together and served it to us at the counter so that we could eat in the dining room. Read moreThey had big signs that said dining room open, and when I got out, I go to go in and, no dining room. While I was walking up to go in others pulled into the drive thru. As I am waiting on my order at the window an old man walks up to the window because his order was wrong. Honestly, this was all around a terrible experience. Long wait, can’t get orders right, food was no good, workers were unfriendly.
The last two times I have gone to Arby’s I have had terrible experiences. The company is obviously not interested in hiring good workers and pays no attention to poor reviews.
For the owner Do not send me a lame “I’m so sorry.” Type of typical meaningless message. I have seen these on Google frequently. Get in your store and get things right. Hire people who actually want to work. It is pathetic to maintain the status quo of this place as it currently is.
I don’t want a free sandwich or a coupon. I want to pay for a quality meal and get a quality meal serve quickly by a decent employee. That is not happening at this location.
PS. The feedback on the receipt does not recognize your store and the last time I followed up on one at another store the cooperate office lied to me and told me they would reimburse me for the meal I wasted money on. Read moreI decided to drop in for lunch yesterday to try the new spicy brisket sandwich. So, it's not worth the money. It wasn't spicy at all, nor did it taste like it'd been smoked 13 hours as advertised. The spicy BBQ sauce requested also had no real spice to it. To be honest, it tasted like some deli meat with sauce. I wasn't asked what side I wanted and ended up with the nastiest, coldest, bottom of the basket, old curly fries. The best part was the side of white cheddar Mac and cheese. It was really good, a little salty but good. I certainly won't be back anytime soon. It's far too expensive for it to be so unsatisfactory. Almost 20 bucks for a combo and side of Mac and cheese...terrible!
