Nothing but great things. I don't want to leave a long-winded review, but they deservingly exceed the fast-food industry. I have had great culvers at many locations and this spot is no exception. This location in particular has been my family's go-to for great food, for a year now. At least once a month we go for a great environment, great food, and great staff. The line to the drive-thru even has trained staff to direct traffic as the need arises. And yes, it gets that busy they need to block drive-thru to allow more customers to park in the almost full parking lot. That's can be looked at as a bad thing, but it is a really telling-sign that this place is always that good. People will wait in a REALLY long line when the food is worth it-it is worth it. But my family and I go and experience the full sit-down experience. I am sure I don't need to say how great it is, because this place is already sooo busy, but even though they're busy nearly all the time, they always get the food out in a fast, orderly manner with a smile on all of their faces. This location is not just doing just some things right, they're doing everything right. They even come around and ask if we need anything, wait on the customers and go well above a fast-food needs to. Hoping the new location projected to be in Gardner is trained and/or staffed by this locations management because...
Read moreYou ever been to a place that just gets it? This is that place! When is the last time a worker at a fast food place opened the door for you? Shoot, when is the last time a worker at a fancy expensive restaurant opened the door for you? It happens here, when you come in and when you leave. Its clean!! The dining room, the counters, the bathroom, the parking lot... all clean. The staff is awesome. They are friendly, helpful, smiling, engaging. My kid only wants double fist bumps now because of Cameron. And they are actually staffed well (the rest of the world cant get people to work and this place is over here crushing it) And the food is great! Burgers... great. Cheese curds... great. Chicken... great. Custard... if you dont like the custard, call me and I'll eat it for ya. I work nowhere near this place and every time I mention it to a customer they all say this location is their go to spot. I even took a culinary class and when my wife asked the instructor who is a moderately famous chef where he liked to eat, he said Culver's. There is a reason this place is always busy. Long story short: in our house when someone says "where do you want to eat" and the other person says "I dont care" we all know that means we are about to find out what the flavor...
Read moreWe love to go to Culver's, because the food is always good and the people are always friendly. This trip was no exception, the indoor seating was about half full (thanks COVID-19), and the drive through line was shorter than usual. Since COVID-19, the drive through at Culver's has often been so long that the store has to station an employee in the parking lot to direct traffic.
Tonight, we were just running some errands and wanted to get a quick bite to eat, before heading home. Culver's is everyone's favorite and was near the end of our route, so it was the perfect stopping place before going home.
We all ordered our favorite value baskets, Double Butter Burgers with bacon, one with cheese and a chicken sandwich value basket. After ordering, we got our number and went to pick a table and get our drinks. We had just finished getting everything together, when they brought us our food, hot off the grill and looking (and tasting) perfect!
Overall, it was the best way to end our trip out to run errands and was a great meal, as usual. The Olathe Culver's is much better than the Culver's on 135th Street in Overland Park, and is the only one we go to, even though the Overland Park location is...
