The Brickyard Tavern — Restaurant in Olathe

Showed up on a Monday night to play pool and get some beers and chill with our group and we’re told to play a $10 membership fee and are a private club of some sort when hardly no patrons were there at the time. Have never heard that from any bar or establishment in my life that didn’t have a band play or DJ. No signs posted outside of this requirement or anything until you go inside. Would have gotten $40-$50 from our group to play pool and get drinks, not dealing with the membership hassle. Rule needs to be changed to encourage more...

What can I say about the yard that most locals don't already know? This place is family owned and truly one of the gems of olathe!! My only regret is I don't live closer or have enough time to visit more frequently as the atmosphere is one of a kind and always welcoming and there's always a familiar face to see like being welcomed home. Hopefully this little mom and pop bar and grille will be around for years to come so the next generation can build the cherishing memories that I have over...

I've always been partial to the Brickyard. I've had a lot of good times in this bar. Spent a lot of time here and made a lot of memories. The place has a special tone that you can't get a real feel for unless you give the place a real chance. The people are great and it is one of my homes away from home, even when it's been awhile between visits. Good place to use as a stop when putting together...
