My friend and I went with our kids during peak lunch hour so of course we expected it to be busy and for the wait to be longer. However, what we experienced today left us completely confused and flabbergasted. We waited in line for 30+ minutes just to have our order taken, which we didn’t complain about. The drive thru line was busy, everyone seemed to be doing something so it was fine. However, once we got up to the front of the line it was apparent that the woman who was supposed to be managing dine-in orders was completely neglecting the long line of people waiting, and focusing all of her efforts on mobile orders. There was no acknowledgment whatsoever, no “I will be with you in just a moment”, just completely no eye contact and no sense of urgency. My friend, who was ahead of me, was then asked by a line employee to deliver a tray of fresh food to her daughter who was sitting at a table in the dining room. In the middle of a full dining room, with a line backed up to the door, and a drive thru with a line wrapped around the building. We were absolutely shocked. Then she had the audacity to ask my friend what she had ordered and proceeded to not make it for her. It was absolutely chaotic and not one employee showed any empathy for the inconveniences. Was missing one more straw for our 2 drinks, as well as a cup of buttermilk ranch for an order of spicy chicken nuggies. These transgressions can be overlooked, but the real sin comes in the fact that I customized an order of fries to have the all-holy garlic sauce, with its extravagance and fragrance, so I was heartbroken to see neither of the 2 fries orders included the garlic sauce to get lost in. This was especially upsetting considering I paid an extra $.50 for the marvelous garlic sauce.
Perhaps these items were just out of stock at this Wendy's at this particular time I picked up my order, but I feel as if the employees should have offered alternatives, or at least, given a heads up that these items were missing, rather than just handing out our food as they should have, but I digress.
I still leave with this Wendy's a 3 stars out of 5 for the fact that the food that was received upon pick up was delicious when consumed back at the house. The in-app customizations to my crispy chicken BLT sandwich were honored, which I was happy about. I can say with confidence that I will continue to be a customer at this Wendy's location, but I cannot help but feel even the slightest bit unsure in the accuracy of my orders placed at this location....

Walk up to the doors they are locked I tried to get the ladies attention inside she keeps on motioning me to go through the drive-thru I'm in a semi parked on the side of the road I can't come through the drive-thru I keep on trying to get her attention she keeps Motion in for me to go through the drive-thru so I walked to the drive-thru window 2X she hasn't came to the window I finally knock on the window and she comes to the window and asked what do I want I told her dining room opens at 8:00 I have a carryout order she tells me she's not unlocking the front doors I'm the only one here I said well I have a carryout which I'm the only one there and she just made it so she knew it was a carryout but still gave me a complete hard time about it by this time it's almost 8:20 I tell her I'm in a semi I can't come through the drive-thru she opens the window and hands me my food after I gave her my name it was completely cold will never come back to this Wendy's can't believe they only got one person working at this Wendy's on a major roadway in...
