After moving to the area i tried out several Asian cuisine places in the area, and this is by far the best! Not only do they have the classic wide variety of dishes, but they offer choice of white meat or dark meat, which some places dislike doing. They are fast, and food comes out really well. Using General Tso's as a comparison point most places cook it so that it has a hard sauce coating on it and is more crunchy than tender, Asian Fun corrects this mistake. The thing that really sets them apart for me is that the staff is always so friendly and pleasant. I've ordered several times and been told by the staff that i can get free egg rolls or dumplings because my order exceeded a certain cost. If i wasn't told i would have been none the wiser. On several occasions I was even given free almond cookies, no reason than because they had them available and wanted to thank their customers. Best...
Read moreOrdered from Asian Fun today. Disappointed. I ordered online. They seemed to be overwhelmed. They were way behind on their orders. First let me say one of the meals I ordered was a shrimp dish with snow peas, mushrooms and broccoli with jumbo shrimp. What we got was pineapple chicken. The chicken was not edible. It was so hard, like it was cooked many times. The shrimp Chow mein was cabbage, celery and a few tiny shrimp. At least they weren't rubber. My son ordered General TSO tofu and cold sesame noodles. The tofo got a thumbs up but not the cold noodles. There wasn't even any sesame in them. So not even going to give them a second chance. This was on a Monday. I can't imagine how they could possibly manage on a weekend night. And if you do go there make sure you check your order...
Read moreThis is one of the best quality Asian food places in Jersey. Always seems like a quiet and humble kitchen with fresh food, rather than the usual fast-paced, loud and greasy background of most Chinese places. U can notice the fresh quality in the veggies and you can see them cutting and preparing fresh ingredients in the back. Everyone also seems extremely nice when ur there, which is refreshing from the rude usual and typical GTFO vibe we get. I always hope that my lunch route passes through Matawan so I...
