Ice Cream Monster — Restaurant in Old Bridge Township

I wanted some ice cream and I saw this cute spot called Ice Cream Monster which was located in a plaza. After dinner you know I had to try!

Upon arrival, I noticed the decor was pretty cool and colorful drawings on the wall. There are a ton of varieties of ice creams and cute stuffed animals by the window and register. They sell beverages like soda, water, and other variety of drinks. .

There are a few tables to sit and enjoy your ice cream but not many.

What we ordered: I ordered a waffle cone with 3 scoops of chocolate chip mint ice cream and no toppings. Let me tell you that was a meal in itself. So delicious. Large chunks of chocolate. Great portion size. I couldn’t finish. Next time, I’ll get 2 scoops instead of 3.

My friend ordered a 3 scoops of Oreo ice cream with jimmy sprinkles in a cup. He said it was pretty good.

Atmosphere: Very laid back family friendly ice cream shop.

The person who took our ice cream order was really nice and friendly. She walked us through the toppings and was patient while we looked at the variety of ice creams.

Pricing: Basically we paid $9.00 per waffle cone with toppings.

Will we return: Absolutely, I would return once in a while. I personally can’t see myself paying $9.00 for ice cream several...

The staff were the nicest people ever and they didnt get annoyed by me asking to try every vegan flavor :)

VEGAN options review:

Tasted every flavor of vegan options they have and most were coconut based which i didnt really like, i just tasted coconut in them and no other flavor. However, the chocolate fudge was really good and i couldnt taste the coconut in that and it was extremely creamy and honestly didn’t melt for a really long time which was interesting. Also the fact that ANY FLAVOR can be made into a soft serve!!!! Yes please!!! so fun and addicting. Also they have SO many flavored cones and they are all different colors which makes such a fun and unique look!

Definitely will return when they come out with new flavors, hopefully some that aren’t coconut based.

Also the area and the monster theme is so cute and fun inside the store, really makes...
