G'ZEPPS OLD SCHOOL ITALIAN PIZZA — Restaurant in Old Bridge

Very disappointed💭💭🤔) TBH & fair it started with I Love this place..I'm glad that I was able to be honest....then unfortunately & now which is fortunately 🔥😁🔥 I have not had one single negative moment since then .. Therefore I'm happy to to truly say good things ❤️.. It's got That Nice menu of terrific choices and competitive pricing.. there's no dollar store option when you get take out That an Old fashion Italian style cooking.. me personally if im going to get hone in more than 15 minutes I do not have them heat up The quick items Like The individual pizza 🍕. I Take as is.. ( by design) So when I get home my heating is only The First reheat since it was made. Reheating wastes there Time & mine while drys it out if I Still have to heat it up After wating there then waiting by my oven ( my choice & it's terrific) My First sentence From the negative review did State it was great food.. I love The variety of pizza, and if I Get a pie it's fresh and I was told to store refrigerated correctly And go through what ever I or we did not finish. The baked ziti, garlic knots and the Best bread wether its heated or room temperature it's either crunchy delicious or soft and such good tastes.. These are the 100% My real feelings.. The only one bad issue never happened again so when you originally come From bensonhurst Brooklyn and saw Giuseppe's Pizza from Brooklyn or traveling & relocating to old bridge like myself ( I do not want to hurt other local Italian rest & delivery and or take out but some places does not messure up. They are honest, fair and they do not crack under pressure... They actually Over deliver.. Its Life And mistakes happen.. however people do not re review.. and my integrity after not having a single negative instance since.. Its My pleasure to speak on My experience as well good quality Great tasting authentic Italian style cooking.. boy do I truly love this place and again other places are hit or Miss or mess up under pressure. That again is not The Case..

Thank you Giuseppe's for bringing your family recipe and Great service to old bridge NJ.. Good food is like a hug 🤗 That you got growing up . It's Love, warm and sticks with you.. I don't go anywhere where else. Monday 6/10/19- changing review from 1 star that I originally gave to 4 stars. The Manager Emily called us last night, but I missed the call. So I called back this afternoon and she was very apologetic about everything that happened and she also had a gift card delivered to our house so we can give it another try. Thank you for that, and for taking the time out of your schedule to hear what happened and for making it better. We won't call it quits on them, we are going to give it another try.

Sunday 6/9/19- If I could give a rating of half a star that would be generous. We have ordered from here countless times for several years but then my husband got severe food poisoning from a meal that was ordered so we stopped ordering from here for about 2 years. We decided to give it another try because this is one of the only places that makes Las Vegas Pizza. Unfortunately after the experience we had today we will not be ordering from them any longer. I called the order in it was for a large Las Vegas Pizza with the Bacon well done. Was told that it would be 45 minutes for it to get here. (I live 8 mins. From the store.) I placed the order around 4:30 - 4:35 pm. So you figure it should be here around 5:15 pm. Well I waited until 5:30 pm then I called them and they employee on the phone said it was still sitting there and asked me to hold on for the manager. So I did and he said that they were sorry and the driver was leaving now. So we left it at that well the driver got here with the pizza @ 5:46 pm. And let me just tell you how disappointed we were with the pizza. The only reason we ordered it is because it was my daughter's favorite pizza so when she took the first bite she had to spit it out and said eww I can't eat this it makes me want to vomit. So I then took a slice and bit into it and it was completely different than what it normally tastes like. This isn't the only time that we have ordered from them and it has not been consistent. They will no longer be receiving...

Ordered takeout on 4.7 2020.... Burnt Calzone. Over cooked to the point if inedible. Cheese was dried out and congealed.

I only posted this after multiple attempts to make contact. Calls and messages unanswered. They actually read my message and never replied.

Being in this industry, I hate writing any negative reviews on places. I try to give my constructive criticism snd feedback when I can.This is actually the first time this has ever reached this level from me.

Having to give negative feedback of any kind at a time like this upsets me. I want and have been supporting local businesses through all of this. Yes, they have done some good for the community. However, being unprofessional and not owning up to one's faults can not be overshadowed by that.

I want to believe it was just a bad day. But, not being held accountable once, will lead to a landslide of "let's let that one slide."

Be better.

I didn't even want a refund. I just wanted this replaced for something edible. Nothing more, nothing less. Such a shame.

Look at comments for attempted contact. Even resent photos to show how the icon shows they read the original...
