I hate giving 1 stars. But as someone who's been to New Orleans over a dozen times, I had high hopes for this place after reading their amazing menu online. They just need an executive chef to pull it off. They seem to have a line cook with little passion other than just pushing plates out. Once I entered, I thought about leaving. It has no NOLA vibes at all. It's more of a dilapidated diner feel. The waitresses were very good, though. Friendly and attentive. We ordered the Poutine app, dinners of crawfish etoufee, and Creole Mac N Cheese. The poutine was just frozen fries with small bits of overcooked, dry sausage. Just make fresh fries and put nice giant pieces of juicy andouille on there. The crawfish tails in my etoufee were so dry and overcooked that it was ridiculous. Boil up some fresh tails, use the shells to make some homemade broth for the gravy, get some good Cajun seasonings, and plate it. Same with the Creole Mac N Cheese. Make yourself some fresh, homemade cheese sauce and throw some fresh juicy chicken thighs and andouille in there. It's really not hard. Your menu is so amazing. I was so disappointed in what was served. If you pulled off fresh, authentic New Orleans cuisine from that menu of yours, redecorated, you'd be packed every day. This review is not meant to be mean. It's meant to give the truth. I'm more than familiar with authentic New Orleans food. It just isn't close to what you're serving people. I'd start with a replacing the cook and get a chef. I felt so ripped off paying $75 for what I was served.

Laissez le bons temps rouler!!!! (Let the good times roll.) An Acadian is a French settler. So happy they came. Acadian Grille is Cajun food at its best. It is as if you are right there in the heart of Cajun Country. And it starts with the friendly service and welcoming smiles of the staff. Our server was Delanie. She was pleasant, efficient and really knew the menu well. Next was the overhead music which was true to the restaurant theme. Happy Hour starts at 5 P.M. and there are many choices. Wine is one choice. Beers are plentiful including craft beers, an ipa, and Abita beers right from Louisiana. The Abitas include Andy Gator and Purple Haze. Or if you prefer, have a whiskey, a smooth Dalmore scotch, gin & tonic, a Moscow Mule, or as our friend, Bernie, had...a Hurricane. He said it was good enough to have a second one. Of course, they also have soft drinks and tea, too. Dinner was excellent. Bernie had the crawfish etouffe. It was wonderful. Sally had the creamy shrimp and grits. Denny had the Jambalaya and it was delicious. I had the Shrimp Po Boy, dressed. The remoulade topped it off perfectly. Our sides were Gouda Mac'n Cheese, Cajun Fries, Red Beans and Rice, Collard Greens, and cornbread. Even though we were all full, dessert was Creme Brulee. We had leftovers to take home. Did I mention...catfish, alligator, frog legs, gumbo, crab cakes, boudin!!! Something for everyone. Bonus! They also cater to businesses or even your home.

Definitely recommend! Atmosphere was chill, music playing in the background pretty reasonable levels, tv for watching the game. Great service! Server was trying to have their dinner but remained quite diligent to my needs! Food is pretty good here! I taste tested plenty to get a good feel! Frog legs were good! Juicy I had to be careful on these initially, as that first bite was a pretty hot, but tasty squirt. For those weary, tastes like chicken with a fish texture is best way to to describe them. Boudin Balls were meh... I'm not sure if it was the sauce that didn't jive or flavor in general, but it was the least impressive thing I got. Blackened Catfish was delicious, well spiced, not over cooked. The dirty rice bed was a little buttery. But overall I'd recommend. Catfish Platter was perfectly fried. Nice crunch but not too hard. Well seasoned. Definite recommend if your the fish & chips type. They do have in house made tartar sauce with dill and it was great! Gumbo and Jambalaya were heavenly. Jambalaya was a bit tomato'y for me and it's a crime they don't naturally have shrimp in either and it's pretty expensive for add on so I skipped out on adding to either one. I STILL recommend them both! Especially the Gumbo! It's hard to go wrong if you eat here! 5/6 things I ordered were fantastic overall. Is it worth to give it a shot? Absolutely! Cheers all! 😁

I have been here a few times already and honestly cannot say enough good things about it.

First off they offer carry out and I noticed Grubhub was delivering from there. Weird start but such are the times right now and amazing local businesses like this should be supported.

The atmosphere is relaxed. The wife and I have been there on a couple of dates and we've brought friends with as well. We've never felt rushed or that it was overly crowded. Great place to have a great conversation over a great meal.

The food is amazing. Not overly spiced like you would get at most "Louisiana Style" restaurants but still packed with amazing flavor. I have mainly stuck to the fish dishes thus far but even when I strayed from them I've never been disappointed. Their specials are usually a great addition to an already great menu. Would definitely suggest the Boudin Balls, their Gumbo, and the Whole Catfish. The price is also a definite win. It's spot on with the amount and quality you get. I've never left without being full and surprised on how much I spent.

Best for last as I have to say the staff there is definitely what completes the package. Every time I have gone they have been very courteous and helpful when it comes to any questions on the menu. You can tell they strive to make new customers feel like regulars and make regulars want to keep coming back. I had some friends come into town on a whim one night and we all decided to go out for dinner. We know we were basically on a fool's errand trying to get a table for 6 on a Saturday but out of all the places we tried and called this was the only one not to treat us like we were a burden, and were nice enough to hold a table for us as long as they could. Needless to say it was what sealed this place as one of...
