Funny Bone Omaha — Restaurant in Omaha

Ok First time I’ve been to Funny Bone. I ordered the blue cheese bacon burger and spinach dip & chips. The burger was awesome and the spinach dip was good. They can replace the blaw chips. Rumchada was great. Waitress was on the ball to help everyone with being a cramped pack showroom. I don’t like the fact you must share your table with just anyone else. Not cool! Maybe should get a bigger club to host the paying guest!!

Joy Koy can definitely be funny and just toss it out, although I don’t think he really had much of his own lines and fed off whomever was sitting in front of him and then calling it’s all good meanwhile most likely embarrassing them talking about sucking Dxxks between the couples a great deal of time. Really? Is this what it takes to make people laugh now days? Sick!! I feel sorry for the ones sitting in front. I would have walked out of there. Embarrassing!! At 3 couples Joy calling it a joke telling them to suck or not suck the guys Dxxks? So what will say when these couples go home and this wrecks their relationship. One person behind me even mentioned that they may now get in a fight. Read below requirements after this; Why is it state that gratuity is included on their website if you buy the “dinner package” and when I bought two “regular tickets” along with two drinks and two foods I also got stiffed automatically with a mandatory 15% tip. What??? When did it not become not my choice to tip any particular amount? Practically $10 tip and a line asking if you want to leave an additional tip?? Really? ROBBERY So, to go enjoy sucking Dxxcks comedy for $90 and a food bill for $75. Wow! $165 I am not going back to this club!!

Debated leaving a comment where reading the priors who did complain seemed the general manager retaliates taking people off email list. I guess that is their right, but does not give the feeling to ever come back.

The drinks were terrible, if not worse than that. I did go out to get ours where the waitresses were over worked, and not enough of them, but that is not their fault. That is managements.

I did ask the bartenders who appeared to be new and aloof in connecting with customers. Then again when you have to look at index cards in your hands, then they probably are very unsure how to mix drinks. By the way, a couple behind the bar only been there two weeks with no supervision. It seemed like I was on a “Lucy” episode. Comedy of errors. They were almost as funny as the headliner who was Jeff Allen, and he was awesome and is what brought us in. Perhaps for the last time. As he was terrific, the establishment was very disappointing. They certainly won’t go broke putting a sign on the front of the store. They were nearly hidden.

Disappointing to be your own waiter, and being charged 15% gratuity regardless, if you did yourself or have a waitress. Guaranteed income, rather than earned for service.

It is nice to get out of the house and enjoy life. Last night was not enjoyable. So because of the poor organizational skills, of the funnybone might be best to stay at home and watch Comedy Central have a cup of coffee or adult beverage with your own food in the easy chair. Might be more enjoyable.

As a self employed person it is important to give the customer your best. In these times especially after Covid and with high inflation.that aspect is critical now more than ever.

The building was clean for the most part. As stated understaffed, too many new employees who needed help in guidance in supervision and efficiency.

You can bring the all best talent in as a business. Headliners are usually good for the attraction. But the localized talent as in employees make it really happen.

I could rah rah and blow smoke up a businesses posterior, but that would be a lie. Honesty is always best.

My wife and I went there last night and I have been in there the past probably 10 years ago or so? Unfortunately not a thing has changed during that time. The ductwork above the seating area is so dusty it's disgusting. It makes me wonder how much dust is being sprinkled onto our moderately edible food. On that note I understand what you're trying to do with it but you shouldn't offer blackened salmon along with funnel cake fries. It doesn't make sense nor does it keter to the audience you're trying to Target. Either keep it classy or keep it carnival style one or the other. I would like to see the two-item minimum removed interest increase the price of a ticket. I also understand why you are doing that, taxes ect. Yes the areas a little crowded but honestly it's okay because you get to no strangers that you're eating across from the tables are a little too small but the drinks make it worth it. These were my observ the main comic was but the comics before her were reallyations last night February 25th 2023.The headliner was meh. The comics leading up to her were great. There are noticeable holes in a drywal. The rings around the lights some of them are missing and he could see holes around them also your lighting could be updated to LEDs it would really let you do so much more you can even make an RGB and I would love to help you with that if you ever want someone to bounce ideas off of or help installing things excetra it really isn't that expensive.
