Asian Wok — Restaurant in Omaha

So...had dashed at this place a few times before and the customer service (always with ladies) was pretty amazing. I decided to go make a purchase. I ordered the combination specials they have daily. The first time I spoke to someone (lady) it was awesome phone service and awesome service at the time of pickup. The second time I placed an order it was a man. He was rude, rushing and did NOT listen to my order at all then proceeded to tell me I was confused about my order. I asked specifically for clarification in quantity of food on a full order of shrimp fried rice versus the daily combination he explained and then tried to place me for a combo fried rice with chicken and pork and then when I told him that was not what I asked or wanted he then told me I was confused about my order. In which I told him no sir you did not listen and I then proceeded to place order at which he then listened and got it right. So I felt content and decided I would do service with them again. Then today, I called to place the usual order and asked if the wrap that they use on the pork egg rolls could be used on a veggie egg roll. The nice lady answered the phone and she said she would go ask. I kindly waited. To my surprise the return to the call was the man. I thought not a concern, he said they could not do it and I said that was fine. I then asked him if he could just have them fry the veggie egg rolls crispier he proceeds to tell me "I am not going to go back to the kitchen and tell them how to cook the food, you eat it how we make it!"

So wait a minute. Pause. I could have sworn I called a provider for food service. Emphasis on service. How the heavens do you expect to get paid for service you failing to adhere to what the paying customer request? That is no different than someone calling in to order a batch of chicken wings and saying fried harder or fried easy.

So I told him to remove my order, he said something offensive and hung up the phone. This service was despicable. I felt compelled to tell all the details of my experience so that people seen it was not a one off. It was he is just a facade of a professional who lacks the professionalism. I don't care if you are the owner or not, there is a way you talk to PAYING customers. The saddest part is that I did NOT have an attitude. I was specific and when they said no I just asked for the item to be modified. Lastly clarification the item of interest did NOT specify that modifications were not available.

The rice was a 4/5 but for the mediocrity of service from HIM. It dropped me to a no longer paying money to...

I have been ordering and buying food from this restaurants for years and I have never been disappointed with their customer services until today. I called to place a delivery order, the young man that was on the phone kept asking for my credit card number several times. After he asked me about the 7th time, I asked the young man was there something wrong and if he could hear me correctly. The young man stated he has a learning disability and that he was dumb and stupid. The moment he stated that, it broke my heart. I immediately told the young man he wasn't stupid or dumb and that I can go slower giving my credit card number to him to help. After I was finished with my order, I asked to speak with the manager because I wanted someone to lift this young man spirits up, I wanted to let the manager know the young man did a wonderful job. A lady got on the phone, as I was trying to explain to her what transpired, she immediately became very rude, stating she doesn't know what took place on the phone and to call back at 9pm to speak with manger. I tried explaining to the lady that this wasn't a complaint but a praise I was trying to give to the young man but she wouldn't listen and basically hung up on me. I was in total shock in the response I received. I called back right a way to cancel my food order due to how I was treated as a customer who only wanted to lift the young man spirits up because he felt bad that he had to ask me several times of my credit card. I have never known this restaurant or their employees to be this unkind especially when you are trying to praise another employee of there services. I don't think I will be ordering from them again, which makes me very sad because I love this restaurant and...

We moved here a few years ago and have yet to find a good Chinese place to eat at here. This certainly won’t be a repeat. While the food was borderline inedible. The lemon chicken (that was a fluorescent yellow somehow) was somehow both dry and mushy, and both the wontons and egg rolls were mushy as well. We ordered pineapple beef, and whatever we got was neither pineapple or beef. Safe to say we will not be back and will need something else for dinner tonight. UPDATE: I called and attempted to speak with the manager. I tried to explain the situation and ask for a refund (we ate MAYBE a few bites of each dish). I was told we could get a store credit or bring the food in and they would remake it.
