I've ordered delivery from this Papa John's several times and not one time have they gotten my order correct. And now because I actually correct their mistake I am considered a problem customer and can no longer use their store. Well I'm sorry that you hire people who refuse to make the pizzas correctly, who don't deliver it to the right address or when they do deliver to the right address they can't even read the ticket and actually pronounce the person's name at least close to it instead of butchering it and then falling back on "I'm autistic" for their reasoning. I don't understand how almost every one of their drivers seems to be "autistic" as they claim. My child is autistic and I find that to be very offensive because not a one of them is shown any signs of having autism. But I guess that's what kind of company they are, the kind that would rather make up excuses and fake disorders for their employees instead of actually train them properly or actually say something to them when they do a poor job. And I have faithfully been a customer of the store and I think one time the food has been on point, and I order at least three times a month. Read morePlanned on Papa John's for a pizza party for our sons 4th birthday party. Called ahead and placed order for pickup. They gave me a price for the order and a time for pickup. When I arrived, it took a couple minutes to be approached by an employee even though I was the only one there. Then they couldn't find my order, asked if I called the right location, etc. After 10 minutes, a driver showed up from his delivery, was asked if he took my order, which he had. He looked for it in the system then said "Huh, I must have not submitted. Sorry man" then just walked away. I asked how long it would take to get another order and was told it would have to be after all the other orders were made which could be at least another half hour. After I asked her to check with the cooks to see if they could get my order in sooner as we had kids at our house waiting to eat they did, it was ready in about 15 minutes. Not that I was expecting a handout, but I wasn't offered any type of discount, addition to the order like bread sticks for the inconvenience, anything. Read moreI ordered delivery on the app & didn't notice that an old phone number. Est delivery time was 35-47min. After 1hr & 10-15min I check the app and it says "delivered". I call the store & they said the driver noted that they called multiple times, but no answer so they left. After figuring out the number was wrong, the guy on the phone asked me to come pick up the pizza. Then he said it's too late to send another delivery person. I asked if there's anything else we could do & he said I could get a voucher for my next pizza to be free. Instead I asked for a refund. Let me repeat - I HAD TO ASK FOR A REFUND. I was genuinely shocked they didn't refund me when they didn't deliver & I actually had to ask.
After the call, I check the porch cam. Nobody knocked or even pulled into my driveway. Camera shows they pulled up along side the house, stopped, and left. Since when did the delivery drivers have to talk to you on the phone to deliver? It's a residential house... no codes or security doors... driveway was completely accessible.
I'm just astounded. Were they just going to keep my money? Not only did they blame me, but they did NOTHING to make it right. I don't know why I'd ever trying ordering pizza from this...
