Twigs — Local services in Omaha

I have shopped at Twigs for YEARS! I mean years.I would go out of my way to support Twigs, and any shops they have in Omaha. I will no longer shop there. I will submit a claim to the Better Business Bureau. I bought a torch, and it no longer works after 4 days. 4 DAYS!

I call Twigs and the response I get about a replacement is, sorry, no refunds or replacements. Are you serious?! I just bought this 4 days ago.

When I was there orginally purchasing the torch, the guy helping me dropped 4-5 torches right away. They fell a good 4 feet! He proceeded to pick them up, place them back on the shelf, and sold me one with a box dented pretty bad. I figured it would be ok because it still looked ok inside of the box. I proceeded to buy a few more items and check out.

I had also bought my previous torch from this location, had it over a year, no problem. Heck, I would of been happy if this new torch I just bought would have even lasted 3-6 months, but 4 day!?

Side note: I am not sure if the girl and guy running the store that night were a couple, but it sure looked it beings they were all touchy feely waiting for us to be ready to complete our purchase.

I get home, take the torch out of the box, and proceed to read the instructions and what not. To my suprise the torch was prefilled. Butane is very flammable, and it is against the law to ship the torch (or similar tools and equipment) pre-filled with a potentially dangerous gas. So, someone at the shop had to have previous taken out the torch and filled it with butane. May or may have not been used.

As soon as I went to click the button to ignite the torch, the ignitor failed to work. It took 2-3 clicks in order for the torch to ignite. I am not expert with torches, so I figured maybe this was normal.

Now, today, after 4 days of moderate use with the torch lighting off and on, and finally not working any longer, I decide to call the store to see if they would at least swap them out, being that we are loyal customers and it's been a very short time.

The response I get is " I'm sorry, there are no refunds or exchanges. Torches go out all the time. You can speak with the boss when he is here, but he won't do anything about it because torches go out all the time." I proceed to ask if maybe the guy who sold me the torch and dropped several of them at the time could have anything to do with it no longer working. On the phone he states "Yeah, I don't know, torches go out all of the time." Keep in mind, it's been 4 days and hasn't really worked right since night 1! Apparently if you do not call the same day/night, you are screwed. I am a fair person, and this situation seems unjust.

I will continue to post this review and tell all of my friends, family, and anyone else that cares to listen about my horrible experince. Twigs has lost a loyal customer and hopefully many more! This is a scam to sell someone something and just say, sorry it's been 4 days since you've purchased this torch that has possibly been used and dropped numerous times.

I know Twigs has several shops, including ones with different names. I will go out of my way to never support or shop at Twigs or Twigs...

I would have given it zero Stars if I were allowed to. They sell faulty devices that they know don't work and when you turn around and bring them right back their responses no refunds or exchanges. I have bought at least five vape batteries several different brands, from them in the last month one works at this point and I just bought it yesterday in a two pack the second one will not charge at all.. they lie about who the manager is, half the staff tells me she works in the morning, when I come in in the morning The woman there tells me oh he is not here he comes in between 9:00 and 2:00 during the week it was 10:15 on a Wednesday. This place is a joke I would not recommend it to anyone they will just be stealing your money by selling you junk you may as well throw it...
