I wanted to order 3 Asiago bagels, 3 everything bagels, a tub of light veggie cream cheese, and a Leonardo da Veggie from the app. I could not customize the Leonardo on the app to add sundried tomato spread, so decided to go with the 6 bagels and tub of cream cheese, and order the sandwich when I arrived. I paid $17.59 on a credit card for 6 bagels and a cream cheese tub. Upon arrival at the drive through, I ordered the sandwich, was told they were out of Asiago bagels (but I did have 3 in my bag), and I substituted an everything. I pulled up to the window after only 2 other customers. Marcus was very friendly, gave me my Leonardo sandwich, for which I gave him a $10 (“keep the change”) and a sealed bag with my name on it. And 2 receipts. When I got home I found in the bag: 3 everything bagels, three things that look like hockey pucks, but I think are called cheesy hashbrowns from studying the menu, and NO cream cheese. I have essentially paid $27.59 for a sandwich and 3 bagels. I was given someone else’s receipt, so I can’t prove what I ordered and paid for. In my case, your only job was to put 6 bagels and cream cheese into a bag. That is Bruegger’s business! I will now have to try to call tomorrow, then schlep to the store, not be able to show my receipt because I was given one for a guy’s egg cheese and ham sandwich, show proof of the three mysterious hockey pucks I did receive, and hope someone can get this simple order correct. Marcus...
Read moreBased on some of the recent reviews, I'm not sure why I'm wasting my time writing another one, because it seems the same problems I've been experiencing for months have not improved. I've tried taking their surveys as well, but those don't seem to be helping either. When the product is on point, the bagels here are great (hence the 2 stars vs 1), unfortunately lack of consistency and poor customer service have to be putting a huge dent in this franchisee's profit. But rather than open up the dining room and actually hire good help, they seem content with funneling everyone into the drive thru for a 10-20 minute wait. If I see more than two cars in line, I keep driving and give my business to Panera across the street. With every food service place in Omaha open and providing food safely to their customers in the restaurant, the excuse of trying to be "safe" as a reason for keeping the dining room closed is completely bogus. But if that's their stance they can continue to lose business. I used to come here regularly, and because it's on the same route as my commute I keep giving them another chance but 90% of the time I leave disappointed. Just goes to show you that you can have a great product, but if your operations are in shambles and you don't provide adequate customer service, people will...
Read moreI simply love a dark golden, chewy, plain bagel. Let me also say that I am not fond of onions.😝 The first time I tasted a Bruegger's bagel I was in 7th Heaven. Finally, the perfect bagel.😊 However, on more than one occasion, I've gone & one (or both) of two things happened. 1. My bagels smelled & taste like onions. Today some of my "plain" bagels even had onions baked into them! A few times I have suggested that the plain ones should not be near the onion ones. After all, people like the plain ones for a reason...they're PLAIN ! Just sayin'. 2. Sometimes they don't look like a bagel or they are so light one wonders if they are even cooked😔. After having said all that, they are still my favorite 💖 "go to" place for bagels! When they are dark golden & don't taste or smell like onions, they are the cat's meow. 🐱 Might I suggest that you call early & have them set yours aside to be picked up when you are ready because they do go fast. The staff are helpful & polite. Today, when I went back through the drive thru to mention the problem, I believe the woman that I'd spoken to had cooked 6 fresh bagels for me. Great customer service! Besides bagels of many flavors (including onion🤣), they have all kinds of sandwiches as well....
