The experience was lack luster. This store gave me my first and worst experience joining warhammer. I came to store not quite knowing what I need or want so i get greeted and asked what im looking for by a guy who doesn't even work there. So the guy running it finally comes over and I started to explain my situation. Which I'm doing this mostly to make new friends get out of my house and also to play something competitive He says I'll like aos and that fan bases is the same. So he convince me to buy a codex book because "you will definitely need it". Which is fine. I did more research that night though and find out aos is no where close to popular like 40k and they're pretty much the same thing. So I go over the next day to return the book and get the 40k codex. I had the receipt and wasn't wanting my money back just trade out books for the 40k one. He said no I can't do that. the book wasn't damaged nothing just a plastic wrap was removed and less then 24 hours It put a sour taste in my mouth. Thank God the community isn't all bad dragon lair, the gsme shoppe sent me in right direction. I also think the person representing your store should pry clean himself overall. He kinda smelled along with stains on the shirt and not...
Read moreThis is a nice location but clearly one dedicated to a specific, somewhat exclusive, clientele. The shop is based around one game and one game only: Warhammer!

The models set up in the shop are beautiful and there are areas set up for painting and customization of figurines and others set up for play. That and hundreds of overpriced figurines available for purchase.
The seemingly predatory nature of the shop over its clientele only worries me insofar as I understand these same products would be available online. I wonder if online purchases would be discouraged...
Read moreI've been playing warhammer since 2009 and was super excited to have a warhammer store in Omaha. I have only ever been into the store 3 or 4 times because Dave is impossible to be around. He is rude and condescending. Today I happened to run into him outside of the store and asked a simple question about the mini of the month. His response was as always rude and condescending. Instead of enticing me to come to his store he brushed me off and walked away.
I wish I could play at the warhammer store but I cannot and do not want to be around Dave. It is my hope the in the future games workshop will put a more welcoming individual in charge of the store so it is...
