This is an update I'm posting on 11/9/24. Every time my mom has visited this location over the past couple of weeks, there have been multiple charges on her card. Now I'm talking like two charges over $20. I know my mother isn't placing two orders over $20 each time she's visiting the store so I REALLY WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS GOING ON. Trying to talk to a human via their website seems to be impossible. Who does this to a 72year old woman? Someone is ripping her off and I want to know who.
I gotta say, it must be nice to get to take 15 minute group breaks. How do I know that's what the employees were doing? Because I was told over the speaker after I'd been waiting for 3 other people to order in front of me. Seriously the guy said verbatim, "I'm sorry we're about to take our 15 minute break. Come back in 15 minutes and I'll take your order then." From my past experiences at this location, they'll have closed down by then. I honestly can't remember the last time this store was open until their listed closing hours. *Against my better judgement, I continue to go to this location because it's like a block from my house. Anyways, on another recent visit I decided to go into the store to pick up my online order. There were two employees standing in the lobby having a conversation when I approached the counter. They both looked over at me when I walked through the door so I know they saw me. There were two other employees behind the counter that saw me as well but they apparently thought that the drive thru somehow took relevance over someone who took the time to park and come into the store. I was always taught to serve the customers that came inside first. Or, at least acknowledge them if circumstances wouldn't allow. Absolutely no one even so much as said hello to me. One of two employees in the lobby walked by me to exit the building while the other went on to wipe down tables as if I didn't exist. I was so utterly appalled by this behavior that I think I might've stood at the counter for another minute and a half before walking out the door. At which point I saw the female employee outside talking on her cell phone. I don't care what your position is with the company, if you're wearing BK apparel and obviously an employee of some sort, you represent the establishment and should engage with a customer. I've held plenty of customer service positions in the past, 2 of which were within the food industry. This was by far the worst I've ever been, or not been in this instance I guess, treated by anyone who has a customer service position. The manager of this location should be ashamed of how their employees behaved on this day. Even though I just wanted to forfeit my business to them, I had already paid for my order online so I proceeded to go through the drive thru. I know they're struggling to keep employees and find new ones but, that's not my fault. Since the pay was increased to $15/hr to start at McDonald's, the location about half a block away from this BK has been nothing but stellar. I'm left assuming BK has not increased what they pay their employees to this level. I know their food prices have also gone up so, maybe it's about time they...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis happened on or about 4/23/19 on a Saturday at 10:30am. It took them 15 mins to get my food. They were out of ice in the lobby. No lids for cups either. When I pumped the ketchup all that came out was the oily substance that happens after it has been sitting too long & has separated. GROSS! The manager informed me that it had been sitting out there since the day before. It only got worse from there because the manager & an employee began arguing & cussing at each other very loudly right in the front of the customers. There was a mailman in there too who also couldn't believe what he was hearing. The manager ended up sending the employee home after yelling at her that she was going to write her up. Everyone else in there didn't need to know this .The manager is the one who should of taken the lead & said "Hey we will discuss this later & in private ". This was a TERRIBLE experience. I am not so sure I will be back. I had to ask for a bag to take my food to go because I didn't want to spend one more minute...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place has really gone down hill. It's hard to know if they will even be open during their posted business hours. There have been several times we went during their operating hours only to find them closed, again... The last time we went the lobby was closed, but the drive-thru was open. I was disappointed that the person that took our order was very rude and unprofessional. I planned on mentioning it to the manager, but it turned out that our order taker was the manager. I was appalled that the manager would conduct himself in such a manner. That behavior is inexcusable and not manager material in my opinion. Our food was sloppily made and it wasn't worth what we paid for it. But, to be fair, our food was warm and we did get everything we ordered. I hope they are able to address these issues and improve the way...
