I would have given 4 stars if not for the very, very young employees (I.e. those with the attention span and serving skills of a gnat) and chick-fil-a's "white line" waiting design. My dining companion wanted to go there even though I had serious doubts they had a vegetarian main meal option. At the drive through I asked if they had any vegetarian selections besides their side salads and fruit cup. At first no, then maybe (regular wrap without the chicken), then yes. They would make a veggie wrap for me. Huge kudos to them for accommodating me and not losing an order. Wrap was fresh and decent and included lettuce, cabbage, tomato, corn, black beans and cheese. They did not ask if I wanted dressing with the wrap so I requested one. For on the fly, I most certainly give them credit for their effort to keep a customer. My dining companion ordered chicken strips (which was good according to her) as a meal and again we were not asked about dipping sauces which I forgot to request. At the window it was nearly impossible to get anyone's attention. Finally, a girl who had a headset on and was clearly taking drive through orders saw me waving and added my request for dipping sauce. Here's the issue, there were 3 kids watching to see if orders were being fulfilled (looked like they were standing observing paper bags being filled), another filling drink orders, a manager who looked like she had had enough, plus a plethora of others serving at the inside counter. I was told to move to the "white line" which is still "in line" because my order wasn't ready (I also had to remind the young boy that we hadn't received our drink yet). Fair enough. They bring me the order which is incomplete but I'm unable to catch the girl who dropped it off because she handed it to me and said "you're welcome" and was gone before I even had a solid grip on the bag. I stay on the white line assuming people can pass around me otherwise why have it designed that way and go back in to get the order corrected. Max time maybe 1 min. I come out, get in my car, start driving to get honked at from people in line. Clearly their "white line" design doesn't work (or maybe not plowed sufficiently) but the impatient honkers got additional bird from me to add to their...
Read moreI haven't eaten all day. There is a line at mcdonalds so I drive up the street to this restaurant. I say I am hungry and dont know what I want. I am recommended a 30pc nuggets or a wrap. I settle on a 12pc nugget with a lemonade. I am given excellent and quick service. I wander over to candlewood lake to enjoy my only meal of the day. I discover my 12pc nuggets is a 4pc tenders or nuggets, I cannot distinguish due to my hunger. My drink has dripped onto my pants and the single napkin is not sufficient. I return to have my order refunded. I do not have a receipt. I am greeted and served promptly, and am refunded for a meal I did not order. The refund is larger than what I paid for my own meal. I set my food down and leave. I write this review.
I am hungry and alienated. I am confused and hurt. I understand it is only fast food. I think of the time at the location further east where I was given a free shake that had been accidentally made. The shake was delicious.
I have enjoyed other chik fil as on occasion. I will not return to this location.
This is an...
Read moreFood is 100%. Today I went there on my lunch break drive thru packed like always but it's okay. Part that gets me is that you have employee taking the orders. There was a van in front of my that was trying to go over to the 1 line so they can take the order the girl that was taking orders for first lane hop over and took 2 cars order. Don't get me wrong I understand she was trying to help to speed up the line. The van in front of me was finally able to order I was able to order. When I finally got to the window to get my order I was almost given the wrong order. There was some type of error when orders where been taken. It would have been nice to be communicated with advising this car in line 2 will need to be in front of you because her order was in before yours. I honestly thinking having your employees standing in the drive thru line is longer and feel like I need to rush and hurry and order. It would be nice to order without someone personally being there. Does not save extra time it just makes it that...
