This place has been so bad here are my suggestions of other places to go.
Food - Jimmy Egg across the street, Subway north on 108th, or event McD or BK... all better experiences.
Coffee - Scooters north on 108th or at 96th and Q or a Starbucks in HyVee, even McDonalds has coffee that is on par with this stuff.
I have really tried to like this place but it keeps disappointing and today was the last straw.
Pay for an order, be told to pull around and wait, and then be told they don't have what you ordered...try again. (It is called an 86 board, most food places have them for a reason.) Oh and forget about asking for a refund they lose their mind.
Regularly receive 2/3 full cups of coffee. (for $5)
Order their hashbrowns to get only 4 in my package. (It is potatoes, most places include these in combos!)
Ask for a special croissant donut they are featuring to be told they are out. (It isn't a feature then, it is a tease.)
Order hot food and get cold food. (chicken was warm biscuit was cold....how?)
Food almost thrown to me in drive thru. (Here is your donut....swoosh)
Ordering a donut and when I get tot he window find out they don't have it. (You are a donut shop it is a basic chocolate cake donut)
Get incorrect change, tell them, and get attitude for pointing out it was a $20 not $10. ("This is why I hate cash")
And on and on and on....
Then finally today stopping by at 5:15 am and wanting to try their chicken and waffle sandwich to be told that their overs are not on so they cannot make any food. WHY DO YOU HAVE A...
Read moreIve gone here regularly for 2 years, due to the fact that its right next door to where i live and on my way to work. But I'm currently trying to find a replacement for my morning coffee as this location has failed me way too many times. My drink tastes completely different every time even though i order it exactly the same way. Sometimes its extremely bitter, sometimes sweet & creamy like it should be, sometimes its extremely watery and tastes like water mixed with cream. I've actually completely just thrown away the drinks I've received here about 4 times. Yet I've never complained because i really don't feel that it would help anything since its different employees every day. Its seriously different crews/people all the time (i go 4x a week and don't see the same employees..) so im sure its different people making my coffee every day and frankly some of them seem like they've never made a simple iced coffee in their entire life. Also they are constantly running out of popular items such as cold brew and seasonal flavorings. It was 6 weeks ago that a girl working there told me they are completely out of the seasonal flavors (toasted gingerbread, frosted white chocolate, etc) and wouldn't get any more, yet the sign remains up to this day advertising the 4 winter season special flavors, as the very first thing you see upon entering the drive thru. Read moreGot a hot coffee & ham egg cheese. They took my order, used a free drink coupon, and paid for the rest. They told me to pull around and they would bring my sandwich to me. Waited almost 10 min, and then they came out and said they were out of ham and asked what I would want instead. I said I just wanted a refund for the sandwich. They told me they couldn't do that because they would have to void the entire transaction, and because I used a free drink coupon, they couldn't credit that since it wasn't actual money spent. (Which isn't what I wanted a refund for, just the sandwich, but I digress.) So I waited another five minutes for my sandwich. I asked for my receipt (because I wanted to give a review with the survey code on the bottom) and they told me their receipt printer was down. Yeah, I'm sure that receipt printer was actually down...so I'm leaving this review here. I was at the store for almost twenty minutes to get my simple order with no one in front of me in the drive thru. Unacceptable.
Multiple times, I have paid for an order, then they turned around and said they were out of whatever I ordered. If you are out of stuff, why not let me know before I order, rather than take my money & not refund me for the sandwich, since I'm not able to get what I want?!
I love Dunkin, but this store's lack of customer service is atrocious. Will not be returning to this location...I have already given this location too...
