Here to share our experience with this caterer. Before the event, she was very responsive, easy to talk to. I ordered a total of 7 dishes, good for 150 pax. On the day of the event, she arrived on time. My family and I unloaded the food into the events place. Ms. Anabelle just left everything with us and did not stay to set up the food. 5 minutes later, we discovered that the caldereta was moldy and the curry was bubbling (both with very sour smell). I called her and said she was far away (even if it was only 5-10 minutes after she left). Good thing right before the event started, we tasted the rest of the food and the pancit was already sour too so we ended up throwing that away last minute. She knew the exact date and time the party would be. She gave us a refund for the caldereta and curry but never answered back after I informed her that all the pancit was also thrown away. I messaged her a few more times but no response. I had a few comments that the shrimp was going bad too after a few hours. we threw out 18 out of the 29 pans total we ordered from here. I have videos but reviews only take photos. This is only based on...
Read moreI ordered several items from the Filipino Bakery and all were excellent. The pandesal was fresh, pillowy in the middle and slightly sweet, reminds me of the Philippines. The ensaymada was delicious and authentic with the traditional butter and sugar topping. The peanut tikoy was my favorite, soft, sticky with a crushed peanut topping filled with creamy peanut butter. I also ordered pork humba, a traditional braised pork belly dish done in the authentic Filipino way, stewed in delicious rendered pork fat with bay leaves and savory seasonings. Everything was excellent and prepared with care. The bakery is run out of a private residence and I hope to see a permanent bakery/restaurant open soon so more people can experience authentic Filipino food done the traditional way in Omaha. There is many more items available and I will try them all soon. Support a local mom and pop operation...
Read moreI ordered on a Wednesday for Saturday morning pickup for my daughter's graduation party. She messaged me at 948PM on FRIDAY to tell me she couldn't fulfill the Saturday morning pickup but she could do Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. I agreed to Saturday afternoon and explained the party was saturday, she gave me a thumbs up. I messaged her around 8am for a pick up time. She messages back saying she couldn't complete my order until 5pm...THE TIME OF THE PARTY. My order was a dozen short but she threw in a free dozen of something I didnt order. I guess that was suppose to make up for the inconvenience and stress. She's a very nice lady. However, I won't be ordering again. Unprofessional to delay a large order the night before. There was no way I was going to reply this section of the menu for a...
