After some much needed thought...I decided to give the Flight Deck an overall good rating. Good Food, atmosphere, no issues, etc. However, I CAN NOT and WILL NOT allow the treatment of one General Manager (name_______________________________) to stand or represent that GOOD rating with a bad and inconsiderate attitude and character towards my family. On 4-7-2022 Thurs night. My family was sharing time with a family member preparing to road travel out of town. We were 8 responsible adults who have been here before as family. Never an issue or problem. Towards the end of of our meal the G.M. (who also was server this night) asked if we needed separate tickets. As usual more than One of US offered to pay entire Bill. The traveling Family member insisted on paying and covered a $168.00 Bill. G.M. asked would he need change. He answered NO. He then exited Flight Deck to SMOKE a cigarette. As my family continued personal conversations we were rudely interrupted by the G.M. (no excuse me, or may I say something to you all, or even address the bill payer) with food plates clearly on the table still and said the following. " I have to look out for my servers, and $4dollars on a $160.00 ticket is not right. First of all my family has the utmost respect and integrity in public or private. I have personally been a server for many of years. That was VERY INAPPROPRIATE of this G.M. No one even had left the table or everyone had not finished eating. To ASSUME we would not leave tips on the table is Wrong. I will not go as far as to say "WHY" he assumed or thought we would not, but I do believe it is necessary to post the behavior and attitude of this General Manager. I don't if was a bad for him or Not, however he has to know that it was not appropriate from any position. In addition I asked what if there was a situation where a person did not have much ? His reply " Then you should not come in here and eat". Wow!! So we demanded an apology and he offered a half hearted apology by saying "Hey Im sorry, but IT IS WHAT IT IS !" SO in fact IT IS What IT IS when it comes to this General Manager at Flight Deck. As long as EVERYONE knows who you are we will continue to come to Flight Deck. Be a General Manager not a server, you are in the way of your servers money with your arrogance and including your customers in your foolishness. Please G.M. rethink your position and Manage the General operations correctly and in order. Or like you say, I guess "IT IS WHAT IT IS , RIGHT?" TAKE Flight and get your...
Read moreWent in with large group of 19 people recently. Place was pretty empty of other customers perhaps 2 other tables of customers. They were extremely overwhelmed with our large group and told us that due to being short staffed it will take a bit longer to get food. We totally understood that BUT the attitude of both men serving us was the problem. They acted as if we committed a huge sin for coming in to their pretty empty restaurant, even though we were bringing money also with guaranteed tip! I have never been to a place that seemed not happy to see customers which equals money!! They seems so irritated instead of having the attitude “ ok we are short staffed, but thanks for coming in and please come again!!” Also they were out of silverware. Which was odd because what did you expect to do rest of day for any customers or were you just assuming it was going to be empty like it normally is?? But even with that, we all was like ok and had positive attitude but once again the servers had an “oh well attitude”! Then as only some of us got our food, our waiter said “ ok I’ll be back because I’m leaving to go take care of my dogs!” How unprofessional! Even if you leaving, you don’t tell us that especially when some people still have no food!! Like what!?!? Last thing, all the rest of us are practically done eating but 3 people (including 2 kids) never got food! They totally forgot! Everyone was done eating and ready to go, so they had to have their food to go. With that, our server should have at least took their meals off or discounted as a courtesy because at that point it wasn’t due to short staff, it was literally forgotten ordered food! Even with that the server had an “oh well attitude!!” I even tried to call manager next day just give heads up to help improve customer service. No call back. So unfortunately I will not be recommending to anyone and customers will stay low with this...
Read moreIt was my first time here tonight and let me just say, Creighton isn't just a bartender-he's a virtuoso, a genius operating on a level that the rest of us can only hope to understand. Watching him make drinks is like watching Will Hunting solve equations that have baffled MIT professors for decades. You can tell Creighton's every move is one of precision. He's not someone who "mixes" drinks-he understands them, on a molecular level, like he was born for this and only this.
You don't order a cocktail from Creighton. You submit a request, and he-like a benevolent, world-weary Robin Williams-decides if you're ready for what he's about to create. When he slides that glass across the bar, it's not just a cocktail-it's a lesson, a moment of true revelation. You take a sip, and suddenly, you understand. You see the code behind the numbers. You hear the symphony behind the notes. You taste something so profoundly amazing that for just a second, you wonder if you, too, are meant for something greater.
You know what’s the best part about it all? He doesn't do it for the recognition. He's not in this for the applause. One day, you'll walk into Flight Deck, and Creighton will be gone, disappearing without a trace. Off to change lives, vanishing into the abyss of another city, another bar, leaving nothing behind but the ghost of his brilliance and an empty space behind the bar where...
