Today at 11.00am, I attempted to place my G.Father's pizza order online 3 times, but their system would not process my order each time. I then called the 108th Maple location and explained my frustration to the rep. and exactly what I was seeing online. She asked me if I wanted order through her or online...what..?? I'm had clearly indicated that their online system was not functioning properly. I ask her if she could take my order and....sha said, "I can't I'm busy opening up the store right now"...again what?? Then why did you ask me that question knowing you wouldn't be providing me appropriate customer service? I called back later in the evening 7.20pm and an attendant transferred me to the same manager. This person the told me she was in the dinner rush and couldn't take my pizza order again!I interjected my familiarity having spoken with her earlier today, and once again the details of my ordering delimma to her...and was in a hurry and declined. I said, so you are telling me a second time that you and no one can take my pizza order. She said no. I couldn't believe the audacity of this female, who was obviously stating that she didn't need my business....I then hung up the phone. Is This The Type of Poor Quality of Customer Service... people living in or around the area of 108th Maple are experiencing !?!? I might order G.Father's Pizza 2 or 3 times a year at the most...bexaysr he likes ut...but I have never received this type of service. I try to be understand and am very patient in most situations initially....I feel that this blond female manager is insulting and taking full advantage of her long term position, in her particular choices of whom she chooses to service at thus God Father's Pizza on 108th Maple Street Omaha.! Does God Father's Pizza Corporate condone this type of treatmnt to any customer...it would appear the answer is yes. This Manager was very casual and comfortable speaking to me this way and in my opinion, has obviously done this to other customers. This Was Unacceptable Poor Service. Feel the need to inform Corporate of this Manager overstepping management bounders and perhaps showing preferences to...
Read moreThe word incompetence does not even begin to suffice for the lack of customer service I received at this location.
From start to finish, my visit was plagued by delays, poor management, and abysmal customer service.
To begin with, I placed an order for pickup and was quoted a 30-minute wait time. Upon arrival, I was the only customer in sight, which gave me hope that my order was already ready. Unfortunately, that was far from the case. It took over an hour for my order to make it out to me, way beyond the quoted time.
During my wait, the management and staff exhibited a shocking lack of competence and concern. The person behind the counter seemed completely disengaged, spending the entire time on a tablet rather than attending to customers. They barely acknowledged my presence and showed no urgency in addressing any of the delays or issues with orders.
When my order was finally ready, I discovered that one of the pizzas was incorrect despite my simple request. I brought this to the manager's attention, expecting at least an apology and a quick resolution. However, the manager failed to offer a discount for the inconvenience and only agreed to a refund after I insisted. To add insult to injury, they did not let me keep the incorrect pizza, which is standard practice at most restaurants when they mess up an order.
As I waited for my refund to be processed, which was an additional 15 minute wait, as my other pizza was getting cold, I noticed that the once-empty restaurant had filled up with over ten frustrated customers, all waiting for their orders or for dine-in service. It was clear that my experience was not an isolated incident but rather indicative of a systemic problem at this location.
My attempt to get pizza on a Friday evening was nothing short of a disaster. The extended wait time, inattentive staff, incorrect order, and lack of managerial responsibility all contributed to an overwhelmingly negative experience. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will certainly not be...
Read moreI've eaten here often for more than 30 years... even back to when it had a raised center area in back, and games near the back door. When I think pizza, I think Godfather's first.
In the last few years this place has been updated and upgraded physically, but the service has suffered. The last few times I ordered I ended up waiting for a few extra minutes as I watched the employees run around confused, the last time I ended up with an incorrect pizza... and entire wrong pizza.
Tonight I got there at the time quoted for pickup and was met with confusion. The employee asked for my name, then my phone number, and after pulling up my order and wandering into the back, he came out and told me that it would be put into the oven in 10 minutes... what was I gonna do... I said I'd wait. I then waited for 45 min as I watched customers stack up. I was alone for 10 min, then as many as 8 people were stuck waiting for pizzas, all waiting next to each other in the time of Covid. I saw two orders picked up between arriving and leaving, so I have no idea where all these pizzas they were making were going... I guess delivery?
I finally got my pizzas after I was again asked for my name and phone number, the order was correct, but the cheese was already starting to congeal... My guess is that it may have been out of the oven for a while before boxing. We had to put them in the oven at home to try to freshen them up again, but they weren't as good.
This Godfather's restaurant is literally across the street from the world headquarters, and it should be better than this. Doesn't bode well for the entire org.
The tiny takeout location out on 153rd and Maple is WAY better, in that they actually make pizzas...
