Grand Patisserie — Restaurant in Omaha

Visited today after searching for top rated Tiramisu in Omaha for my husband's birthday.

It's a small place with a counter that has your eyes looking up & down. As soon as you walk in you're met with the pleasing aroma of brown butter.

The Tiramisu comes in a little cup with a dusting design of a coffee cup, so cute. My husband (who is very picky about his Tiramisu) rates it a 9 out of 10. Has all of the components, all the right flavoring. The lady fingers are soaked just right, overall not overly sweet; just the right amount of sugar.

I still need to try the Baklava I got.. the person we talked to said it's simple syrup rather than honey as easier to control the sweetness. Comes in a little roll rather than the squares.

But.. the star of today is definitely the coffee macaron! Omg.. I'll be dreaming about it! The outside is perfect. The inside is velvety, coffee bitterness like a burnt sugar cookie - the way I like it! The bitterness hits first & then the sugar. I'll drive across town just for that!

DEFINITELY will be back! (I don't give 5 stars on the first visit very often.)

Grand Patisserie was a sweet surprise & exceeded my expectations in every way. As an out-of-state customer, I was initially hesitant about placing a large order and actually did so the "old fashioned" phone call way. The gentleman, I believe or presumed to be the owner was extremely patient, sweet and helpful and put my mind at ease. Just ordering for a birthday party and wanted a little sampling taste from the shop. The selection of pastries is truly impressive, and the descriptions made it hard to choose just a few.

The quality of the pastries was exceptional (after party review). I was told that every bite was a delightful explosion of flavor and texture. It was clear that the team at Grand Patisserie takes great pride in their craft, using only the finest ingredients (he explained this while ordering). The arrangement was beautifully presented, and the variety of pastries ensured that there was something for everyone.

My friends were absolutely blown away by the surprise. They couldn't stop raving about the unique flavors and the overall quality of the pastries. It was the perfect way to celebrate my friend's birthday.

The Grand Patisserie should be famous.. honestly. I can’t believe I just now got around to trying this place out. Their bakery is one of a kind, fresh, homemade, and delicious — everyone needs to know about it!!

We got tons of baked goods for my sisters bridal shower and so I had the delight of trying out a lot of different options. I can say with absolute confidence that these were the best pastries I have ever had. My absolute favorite was the chocolate croissants.. and I’m salivating just thinking about them!! So fresh, soft, and everything you could ask for in a croissant. We also got the baklava, almond half moons, lemon tart, berry tart, and the lemon bars I believe. I won’t take the time to go through each one because the bottom line is that they were all DELICIOUS!! Absolutely mouth watering goodness on every level possible.

When i came to pick them up the owner and his son helped bring my pastries to my car and were the absolute sweetest. They make you feel at home! I had FOMO and wished I could be apart of their cool pastry making family.
