Jimmy's Egg — Restaurant in Omaha

Food was bland. Staff was helpful and amazing! I misunderstood a food Item and they had what I actually wanted made and brought out to me no problem, which was actually amazing because the side they corrected even though I insisted as it was my mistake, turned out to be the highlight of the meal. I had the BLT with a fried egg on it and it tasted like oil in warm break, with a fried egg. The egg was the best part of the sandwich, everything else was a bland flavor that it was hard to discern any flavor from. The house fries, which is just a cubed potato with some seasoning was unappetizing and just tasted like raw potato with some salt and the french fries were actually pretty good, near perfect. My daughters scrambled eggs were nasty, good thing she had french fried too. She's 1 1/2 and barely touched the eggs, even she knew they tasted bad. Idk if the egg was spoiled and they didn't notice, but it was not tasting right. Biscuits and gravy are decent but not the best here. I would give this place a 2 star for the attempt at cooking being better than some places, but the staff really made this trip worth while. My server was very friendly. The reason they were so busy is most likely because they are so friendly, the environment makes you want to come again. All in all I might actually return here one day just because of the staff. Hopefully the food will have a bit more flavor...

I came in with my young daughter over the weekend, we sat at the bar : counter area. I’m highly upset , disappointed, disgusted in what we saw. I’d like for whoever runs this store to email me please. My young daughter had questions after she saw a gal come back to the kitchen with dishes then placing her hands on 3/4 male cooks private areas as they laughed and groped her private areas back… this women would come back shortly after carrying more dishes performing the same repulsive acts. We sat next to a gentleman who was making the same disgusted remarks, said he had been coming to this place for years and up until recently has never felt more inclined to find someone where to go. We were hungry and in a rush somewhat so we stayed, thankfully the coloring of the menu helped distract her as this same girl continued grabbing into make cooks in back while screaming / moaning loud as they grabbed her back. It was a socking sight to see that ended almost when a server brought back a plate , customer found a long hair in her entree .. odd enough to was long and black , same as the gal being highly inappropriate. She did not have a hair net or gloves on along with a filthy apron. Again, I’d highly appreciate a email back as I’m days later still...

The food was excellent. But the service is questionable. I worked a 16 hour shift and thought it would be nice to take my kids out to eat before I take a nap. We walk in we wait about 5 minutes before we get acknowledged at the table and the waitress who asks us for our drink was an Ashley. She gave us kids menus and colors. She brings us the drinks then takes our order. I corrected her as she was trying to give me 4 kids meal & I only needed 3, one each child. She leaves and comes back with food soon after. She sat food down I said the order of one of the plates was wrong. She said she repeated the order and thought she had it correct and I said I had corrected her but she still brought wrong plate. She rolls her eyes, gives a big sigh and grabs the plate with attitude. She comes back with the correct plate sat it down again with attitude and walked away. At this point I’m annoyed. Annoyed at the fact that I always come to this jimmys egg and never have issues but for whatever reason this waitress thinks customer service isn’t her priority. It ruined my whole morning because I felt the way I was treated with my kids beside me was unfair. The food was great as mentioned but the service could definitely...
