I normally really like Jimmy Johns, but this was definitely not my most positive experience. When my mom and I were ordering at the register, we were only asked if we wanted cheese with our sandwiches. We say yes, and then we were told the total, and waited off to the side to tell them what we wanted on the sandwich. A minute later, they give us our sandwiches. When I acted surprised and said "don't I need to tell you what toppings I want?" I was just told "no. That doesn't come with toppings." And then she walked away. I get that I apparently didn't understand what I ordered (I thought it was just less bread). But it was the way they responded to it that I found very off-putting, they clearly didn't care if I was happy or not.
When we got back to the hotel, they got my mom's order wrong. She clearly ordered an un-wich. She said if twice, but they just gave her a regular club.
Normally Jimmy Johns employees are so friendly and accommodating. This staff just seemed like they couldn't get us out of there...
Read moreWaiting 10mins for a single sandwich is not freaky fast, I understand companies, team members, and members of leadership only have so much bandwidth, but this location and these individuals are severely lacking any form of direction and leadership. I have worked at JJ's in previous years and am a big fan of the quality and service they provide. Any amount of wait time longer than a few minutes is just out right negligence. The system and processes in place allow for quick quality service regardless of how many car they have jn the drive through or how many individuals walk on. It's a shame to see they are unable to execute. Alternatively this could've all been swept under the rug with intentional prompt and polite communication, something as little as sorry for thendelay or perhaps acknowledging any amounts of traing they may be jn the process of. Read moreOn average I get JJ's once a week. This place was always pretty good. Most of my bad orders came from the one on 52nd and L. Recently, however, I have been experiencing a few problems here. I get the same order every week. This is on the receipt photo. The #7 is supposed to have double the meat and it only had one, but they threw on some ham to top it off....LOL. I asked for no cheese, and they put that on there. The #14 is supposed to have roast beef, turkey and no cheese. Looks like they may have made a #13 instead. Glad they left off the mustard and didn't even add the pickle. They did get the extra onion right though. It also looks like they weren't taught how to peel the lettuce off the head and just cut it in half and used that. Some serious training needs to be done.
