This was our first time going to Lisa’s Radial Café and it has made me rethink how I have been rating breakfast restaurants, because this is the best breakfast restaurant I have been to in Omaha. The restaurant is not located on a main thoroughfare, it is located about ½ block south of Cumming on 40th St. There is a 14-space parking lot across the street, so parking is not a problem. When you walkin, your first impression is that it is a very small place, because you see a counter with about 10 stools and a small room to your right with 4 tables. When we were seated, it was in the a room, behind the one that was initially visible on the right side. This is truly a small neighborhood restaurant located 1/2 block south of Cummings on 40th. I noticed that a lot of the customers seem to know the staff, which indicates repeat customers. The staff is friendly, efficient and attentive. They work as a tag team to ensure that your needs are met. I think the time between ordering and delivery of our food was the shortest time I have ever had. They also have a strong WiFi signal, which I find is becoming more important today the it was a couple of years ago. In fact, this is a new factor that I have added into my ratings. I had their Pork Carnitas skillet which consists of a pile of hash browns topped with pepper jack cheese, green peppers, onion, jalapeno, slow roasted pork and 2 eggs cooked over easy and served with salsa. It was served with two pieces of sourdough toast. The meal came out steaming hot and the eggs were cooked perfectly. I could probably have shared the meal with my wife and saved the cost of her breakfast. My wife had their Killer Cakes: 2 large buttermilk pancakes with Peanut Butter Chips, with a side of bacon (4). The pancakes cover the entire plate, approximately 10". She took 1/2 her meal home for another day. For the quantity and quality of food you get, the prices are cheap, $10 or less. They do not take credit cards, but they do have an ATM on site, so you may want to make sure to have cash if you don't want to pay the ATM fees. This is one of the best breakfast choices in Omaha.

Sitting here at a noisy counter in a crowded, small restaurant, on a crowded, small street I feel this place is completely overrated. The menu is very plain, they have about 6 dishes that come with gravy which is a terrible nutritional choice first thing in the morning. They didn't give me any water and the coffee creamer has sodium citrate in it and doesn't need refrigeration. I'm sitting towards the end of the counter with a space between me and an employ eating their meal. Someone who I take it to be the owner or manager comes over and sits in the space between us right next to me without asking and starts a conversation with this waitress. This strikes me as inconsiderate and rude. I don't want to sit 2 inches away from someone else. What happened to 6 feet social distancing, what happened to 3 feet personal space. I guess when you're the big-time manager of Lisa's radial cafe you can't be bothered with caring about the comfort of the people eating there. And this was not a small man. I had to get up and move to a different seat. This place didn't seem very special to me. In fact the specials for the day were Denver omelet, stuffed french toast, and spaghetti, none of that is special. Tell me one breakfast place that doesn't have a Denver omelet. The food was ok, the coffee was meh. I got bacon eggs hash browns and toast, you can get it just as good anywhere else. I'm glad I was already in the area for something and didn't drive down there just to visit this place.

Was in Omaha for the College World Series we found Lisa’ Radical Cafe for Sunday morning breakfast after attending church at St. Cecilia. Googled up breakfast places and found Lisa’s was around the corner. Had great reviews and seemed to be a locals place. So we head over. Had a small wait but for a good meal I don’t mind waiting. The atmosphere here really confirmed that we were in a locals place and I loved it. Our service was first class and the food was outstanding. Some can say how hard is it to screw up breakfast. Well I can say it easier than you think. But that was not the case at Lisa’s. I was on a breakfast sandwich kick and this one did not disappoint. It featured scrambled eggs homemade sausage American cheese served on a croissant. Wow it hit the spot. My friend had the peach stuffed French toast. I did not get a taste of this one I was afraid to reach across the table for fear of losing a finger. He was enjoying it just that much. Now those hash browns on my plate look like something simple to prepare. But it is hard to get the crispy just right. These were right one the spot. So good. Thank Lisa’s for such a great meal to a visitor for the annual event that consumes Omaha each summer. I plan to return to Omaha for the CWS even if my team is not in the show. We met some great locals, had some great meals, enjoyed the hospitality that Omaha and its residents and police officers showed us. If you’re in Omaha do not miss a meal at Lisa’s Radical Cafe.

I might be biased because I work here. But I love the food, my co-workers and the atmosphere. I just want to address the people who might not understand why how or waiting list works. First on the weekend we are always extremely but. We have a small waiting room in the back, so since the wait time can be anywhere from ten minutes hour to get a table and it may take about the same time to get your food. This is because, for one, since covid it's very hard to find to find anyone who wants to work. (this is the case everywhere.) Secondly, or kitchen is extremely small, the grown men shoulder to shoulder, on a good day when everything and everyone in there looks like a well choreographed ballet. Next we usually have two waitress on staff. This being said, we will take your name and your phone number. So that is you do not want to sit in our waiting room or if it's too full, you can take a walk while your waiting, go next door to Sweet Magnolia Bakery and get some amazing sweets or go around the corner to get a great cup of coffee, it simply Wait in your vehicle and listen to music, and we call you we have a table ready. Now here's the frustrating part. If you see empty tables there are reasons. Either the host( me on the days a week) am so busy with people simultaneously walking and taking their names and number, cashing people out when their leaving, bussing tables ( hopefully with help, again understaffed) that i don't have time to seat people right away. Also if I seat ever table at the same time, when you didn't get approached for your drink order right it seems like we're ignoring you and the waitress get overwhelmed and May not be able to see who was seated first. Also in busy busy days the cooks can only cook so many things at once. So when our ticket standby things is full it means if you put your order in you'll be waiting that much longer, Which people don't like. So if you see empty tables or seats the counter, yes we have people waiting for them, wether they are in the resteraunt or not. So when I say what the wait time is please don't ask if you can sit at the bar or one of the empty tables, it's really frustrating especially when asked about one of the tables, and then ask if you can sit at the bar "that's first come first serve, right?" ....... No it's not...

Alert worldwide 🌐 customer i give this company 12 stars for customer service satisfaction, food and clean restaurant

Came in yesterday with my wife and sister.

They didn't know who I was which that was a huge plus. As a master chef for 30 yrs and go out to write blogs and reviews where to start with this company. My mother and father and uncle are worldwide know chefs Elliotts

Well when we first walked in the lady was fast and quick to help my wife you see my wife is half blind/ deaf they played music to comfort the energy and it was all positive energy every employee was smiling and happy and no matter what always triple checking on the customers. I was maken phone calls and the two waitresses came different time and asked my sister an wife if I was ready they showed out most respect and honor 🎖. Going on the cooking the meals was mind blowing im a very very very very picky master chef and I got to say they blew my mind and socks off.

The homemade pot roast meal was out standing you could taste all the flavors and seasons but the chunks of meat is what won it all the hidden mash potatoes was a awsome touch. My second plate was the bacon cheese burger but I did a switch on them I took off all the garnish and bun then I had it triple patty with cheese and bacon only it was made with love and patience they French frys was made perfect and fresh.

They didn't double dip and they didn't give over holded dry and dead frys

The bathrooms was outrageously clean lots of sanitizers, towels, toilet paper and very awsome on the great smell in the bathrooms.

What blew my heart, mind and soul the most was the chef cook came to me personally and asked me how was the taste, texture, what it made to my liking very rare a chef would come out but he did. This young man I will start to follow his career

Please come one come all bring this company and the employees with great honor and...
