Menuderia la Purísima — Restaurant in Omaha

First time going in and the food was good. The restaurant had a lot of old furniture but it looked and felt clean. There were no paper towels in the women's restroom so maybe that was an oversight. The only part I am left questioning were the prices. I felt as if I was overcharged for the food. There were no menus to look at so I went off the website and I still don't understand. When we asked for a menu, the waitress says there is no menu. I ordered a small bowl of menudo and a tongue taco for me. I ordered a small bowl of pazole and a pork taco for my date. She had a soda pop and I had a glass of water.

They said they'd charge an extra 4% if I use my credit card, so my date said she'd pay. But she was flabbergasted when they said the bill was close to $50 !!!

Menudo was great, the flavor is 10/10 there. I liked the fact that they brought a lot of all the fixings. The small size was more than enough for me but I also added a taco de tripa which was also so good with the homemade tortilla. The service was good too, very fast and attentive.
