In short, cold food, a miserable evening; poorly managed and unprofessional and poorly trained staff. Saturday night and no hostess in sight. We waited and waited and finally just took seats at the bar for dinner. Oddly, all of our food (main dishes and appetizer) came out at the same time, so our food got cold while we ate the appetizer. When we politely asked the bartender to hold onto the dishes, she slammed the plates down in front of us anyway, telling us they were "really hot" so we "probably had a few minutes." When we pressed her on why they came out together, she basically shrugged it off, told us to deal with it, and took no responsibility for entering it into the computer wrong. She yelled at us, throwing her hands up in the air, finally admitting that she forgot to enter it in as an appetizer. She stormed off and stopped serving us the rest of the night, shot dirty looks our way, and failed to even fill up our water glasses. She never apologized or offered to comp part of the meal --nothing.
The next day, we called the manager and brought it to her attention, but unfortunately she refused to void the check. We thought we were out for a nice evening and never expected to be so severely mistreated. It really wasn't the offense of her forgetting to enter the app into the computer correctly. We understand that people make mistakes. It was the abuse we suffered through our entire dinner after we complained, and the management's lack of handling this in a professional manner that is quite upsetting. We spent $150 at dinner and even still tipped this awful woman, expecting that management would make it right, but they refused, telling us we needed to write a letter to the owners of the restaurant. The manager we spoke with admitted that the restaurant has no heat lamps and that they have been having problems with staff forgetting to enter appetizers in correctly so that they don't come out at the same time as meals, yet she still failed to compensate us for our cold food and the subsequent mistreatment and lack of service from the bartender.
We expected that the manager of any respectable establishment would have been appalled at the way our evening was ruined by this bartender and that the bill would be immediately comped accompanied by an apology. The Pitch locations in Scottsdale, to which I have been several times, are much better managed and far more professional, and we have never had a poor experience there. Unfortunately, Pitch in Omaha does not compare. Pitch in Scottsdale has a bit more of an upscale vibe whereas clearly it seems that Pitch Omaha only aspires to be a trashy drinking establishment. We have had several experiences at the Pitch in Dundee wherein the noise level is so loud you cannot hear the people at your table; the service is slow; the food comes out overly greasy, incorrect or under temperature; and there is a serious lack of attention from the wait staff. It is very unfortunate, and needless to say we will not be revisiting the...
Read moreMy friend and I both Muslim had a deeply upsetting and offensive experience at this establishment on Friday the 18th in the evening. From the start, we made it very clear that we could not consume any alcohol and specifically requested a 0.0% non-alcoholic drink with absolutely no traces of alcohol. The staff assured us that the drinks were safe, but then brought us a different drink than what we had ordered. After taking a sip — which tasted off — we checked the label and discovered it contained up to 0.5% alcohol.
This was not only a serious violation of our religious beliefs, but also extremely upsetting because my friend is currently pregnant. When we calmly raised our concerns, we were met with aggressive and dismissive behavior, and were told that “all non-alcoholic drinks have some alcohol” — which is completely false. We specifically asked for 0.0%, and that’s what we should have been served.Things got even worse. I ordered a Buffalo Chicken Pizza with NO BACON, and repeated this request four times. I asked the waitress which goes by olivia to please double-check and confirm. She assured me the pizza would not have bacon. Yet halfway through eating, I found a huge chunk of bacon in my mouth I spit it out, and saw bacon pieces all over the pizza.
We asked to speak to a manager, but instead the same waitress came back, and tried to gaslight us, insisting there was no bacon on the pizza as if we couldn’t clearly see or taste it ourselves. There was no apology, no accountability, and no attempt to make the situation right. To top it off, instead of removing the alcoholic drinks they wrongly served us, they just charged us for Sprite — as if we should be grateful for that. They didn’t remove the starters or anything else, despite this being a very distressing and disrespectful experience.
We remained polite and respectful the entire time, but were treated with negligence, dishonesty, and a total lack of regard for our dietary restrictions, our religion, and our well-being. This wasn't just poor service it was a serious violation of trust and potentially harmful, especially for someone who is pregnant. We are strongly considering taking legal action. This was not a minor mistake it was deeply upsetting, dangerous, and discriminatory. Avoid this place at all costs if you expect to be treated with honesty, safety,...
Read moreWE ARE VERY UPSET! Me and my friend are both Muslims and as the whole world knows by now, unless you are very uneducated, we have some food restrictions. First we ordered some NON-alcoholic drinks and we asked for a 0.0% drink and said to make sure it doesn’t have any traces of alcohol and asked for some starters. They said these ones don't have any traces of alcohol and brought us a different drink than the one we asked for. We got the drinks took a sip it tasted disgusting but made us go ahead and read the can and it had up to 0.5% alcohol, not only is it not okay with our religion, but Im currently pregnant and thats just messed up on so many levels. I told them we cant drink that and that it has a bit of alcohol and the reply way aggressive that all non alcoholic drinks have a percentage, which is not true... AFTER THAT we ordered pizza my friend asked for buffalo chicken pizza she told the waitress 4 TIMES!! NO BACON NO BACON Please make sure there’s no bacon. The waitress said there will be no bacon on there. We get the plates she’s eating her pizza mid way gets a huge chunk of bacon she spits out. Finds out her whole pizza had little pieces of bacon all over. When we addressed the issue and asked for a manager. The manager didn’t come talk to us just sent back the waitress and we were being gaslit that the dish has no bacon LIKE WE ARE BLIND. We told her there is bacon and what the waitress did was make us pay for the sprites we ordered in exchange for the alcoholic drinks they gave us and the starters. We just cant believe we were being nice throughout this very disrespectful situation while we kept getting gaslit. We will be taking...
