I had an amazing Swedish Massage from Kahleigh this afternoon. She found and unlocked stress and tension I didn't realize I was carrying, along with plenty I did. You can read Kahleigh's bio on the website, and from the other positive review you'll find there as well describing her as empathetic, intuitive, adaptable. These words create a pale idea of the framework of a happening that must be felt, experienced to be understood, and then only completely by that part of my mind that keeps secrets from the rest.
I think that if I were look fully on something so exquisite and transcendental with the conscious mind nothing ordinary would every seem good enough. It is something to feel and let take you over. The closest I can come to describing it is to think of the play of water and wind and sun bringing life. It's a dance that she feels and breathes her way through, using her art to feel my energy and coax it from one place to another and leaving me whole. It's the symphony of rain falling on a million different surfaces creating a new song every time. A new song but the same theme.
I opened myself to her energy. Surrendered myself to her art. And left my appointment feeling the peace and wholeness I had forgotten I was missing.
Five Stars? A hundred Stars? Five Hundred Stars for every star in every galaxy in every universe? There isn't an accolade big enough to describe the beauty of the experience of a massage from Kahleigh. I can only offer my gratitude and hope it is enough.

Read moreI had the best massage of my life at Omaha Massage and Healing Arts yesterday! I was happily greeted when I walked in the door by my masseuse, Casey. I loved the vibe and atmosphere, it was soothing and relaxing. Before my massage, Casey and I talked about what issues were bothering me the most and what she would focus on. She left the room as I got undressed to my comfort level and ready my massage. The room was peaceful and the music playing was relaxing. I felt an instant connection with Casey and while normally during a massage, I don't talk...but I am a chatty person, so we had a great conversation and learned a lot of what we have in common. I felt so comfortable and all my tension melted away, especially in my neck and shoulders. My only mistake was not booking a longer session! I will definitely be returning for more regular appointments! I am also very interested in booking a couples massage and possibly a spa day with some girlfriends. This is the perfect place if you want to relax and not worry. I love Omaha Massage and Healing Arts, I feel as their mission statement, morals and ethics align with mine. Another bonus is supporting a women owned business! Thank you Casey for a wonderful massage! Highly highly...
Read moreI received a 60-minute Thai massage. The massage itself was good, and I appreciated the technique of the therapist. However, I was disappointed because I had been experiencing a significant issue that I shared but felt like it was completely ignored by the therapist.
I completely understand how having a specific issue would not change how the massage is given, but not even having the issue acknowledged left me feeling like I was just another appointment to get in and out and receive payment from instead of feeling like it was a healing process.
Edit in Response to the Owner - Thank you for your response. To clarify, as I stated in my original post I had no issue with the technique or the massage itself. I fully understand that it is a whole body approach and having a specific issue would not change the technique. However, I feel it is necessary to be able to express what I am experiencing and have some level of acknowledgement back if it is to be a healing experience, regardless of the type of modality being used. I hope this helps to clarify my...
