I eat food, ive eaten food all over the world, Michelin star to seedy street vendors that only the brave dare try. One star is earned for each of the following: service, selection, proper pours, presentation, ambiance. Trying to simplify ratings, if a location gets 5 stars I will go into more detail.
Stopped in for a few beers, during the day, one time. The decor and atmosphere is unique, you either like it or you dont. But regardless its done right for the purpose. Honestly everything is done right for a whiskey bar. Great selection, enough beer choices if your not into the hard stuff.
What really tipped the scales here? Tatted up bartender, who cares, thats not the point, service guys, service. The man can poor a proper beer, didnt complain about getting water for the whole table....no im mistaken, we didnt have to ask. He made sure our glasses were constantly full, even came out from around the bar.
Thats how its done people, a proper bartender gets you water so you can keep drinking. Doesnt make you feel like your bothering them when you need a refill. Right on guys, keep up...
Read moreProof is the perfect spot for a crafted cocktail. They have a great selection of bourbon and scotch with extremely talented mixologists behind the bar.
If you’re looking for a boozy, well crafted cocktail - this is the place to be. It is fun to watch the mixologists climb the latter and create intricate cocktails. The mixologists are all great here! Jeremy is quite the character! No matter who helps you, it is always such great service.
They have large round booths so you can bring a bigger group or take a date and enjoy a cozy evening. From the outside it is so unassuming but once you’re inside the atmosphere is so cool, classy and energetic. The inside is so beautiful and cozy - the music is so on point and makes everything come together.
They also have a great patio for the warmer nights!
I highly recommend checking out Proof if you...

I had the house Old Fashion for $5. It was not bad but also not the best I’ve had. I would probably order a different one the next time just to see the difference but I’d still order this one. They have a very small selection of food to choose from as it is not a restaurant but an actual bar. The music was fun and sounded like you were in a Speak Easy. The bartenders were dressed up in suit vests which made the feel of the bar even more like something from the roaring 20s. They were polite and attentive. Even the owner visited our table and was sociable with us. This was a very pleasant experience and I would...
