Service so poor that this is the first time I've ever been inclined to write a review.
First time I dined in about a year ago with friends was excellent. Food was good and service was good. But then each time I came back the service slowly got worse.
Second time several months ago the service was terribly slow. Our waitress with dark hair was very apologetic and explained to my group that there was only one cook in the kitchen. So we waited about an hour for our food. I was understanding because I am a waitress and it just seemed like an unfortunate night to come in because of a short staff issue in the kitchen. Food was not worth the wait but our waitress was very nice.
Decided to give the restaurant another try recently. Never again. Our waitress this time was a young woman with red hair. It was pretty busy but my group was fine with waiting. Once again the service was extremely slow because of a short staffing issue and our waitress was very rude. Our table hadn't even ordered drinks yet and she was already in a bad mood. Like I said before I am a server so on a busy night I can understand being stressed during a dinner rush, but it was sad that she decided to take it out on us. She had an annoyed tone when taking our order, was very short with her words, and rolled her eyes a lot. She wasnt very attentive to our table but I dont blame her for that because it was a full house. I think she was pissed off at another table?? Or maybe we looked like a table that wouldn't tip her well so that's why she was instantly sour?? I'm not sure, but we still did tip her 20% despite her attitude.
Overall just really frustrated with the service the last time me and my friends went. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt that maybe she was just having a bad day, but I don't intend to return just incase I recieve bad service again from that waitress. As for the staffing issue, it seems like the management needs to step up and make sure they are hiring more people and keeping the restaurant a more enjoyable place for their servers. Seems like the poor management has lead to the short staffing issue and maybe that's why that waitress was so rude.
Wish I could five stars to our first...
Read moreProbably one of the most disappointing meals I've had in a long time. This was my first time here, so I'm just describing my experience.
My girlfriend and I decided to eat here. We ordered three appetizers. Outta This World Nachos I cannot believe I spent 12 dollars on these. Seriously. I ordered a half order of these and I added Black Beans, chicken and beef. The chips were fine, but there was hardly any meat of any kind of these nachos. And 2 dollars for black beans is just insane, by the way, ESPECIALLY for the amount I got. Everything about these nachos were a disappointment except for the presentation. They looked really good, but I was very disappointed. If I, personally, can make better nachos for cheaper, then
French Fries We got these last, despite being the easiest to make, because to quote our waiter our original fries were "Not good." She brought our food to the table without out fries, initially. I don't know if she forgot about them or what, regardless, we had to wait for our fries.
Pretzels I didn't order these, my girlfriend did. They were fine I guess. They didn't seem like they had any salt or anything on them, but that's fine. I wasn't sure what to expect, so I don't really have much judgement on this.
Finally, when I got my change, I did not receive the full amount of my change. I don't care how much change is left, I want all my change back. The reason is because it is my change. Not the waiteress's. Please tell your waiters/waitresses this. Seriously. I was going to tip just fine, but don't think that you're entitled to my coin change because "lol who needs coin change." I didn't say anything about it and left.
I'll probably be back here, but this experience was not worth the 26 dollars I ended up spending. Hopefully next time...
Read moreExtremely unsafe. My family ate here tonight, we sat in a booth and my 4yr old and 2yr old colored while waiting for our food. We were there for quite awhile as the kitchen was pretty backed up. At one point my wife’s keys dropped between the booth and the wall. My 2 yr old had been sitting there for the hour we were in the restaurant. When my wife leaned over to try and get the keys, she bumped the electrical outlet that was hanging off the wall. A huge spark shot up and my wife is lucky she wasn’t electrocuted, and we’re lucky that during the hour we sat there my little girl didn’t kick or bump that outlet. We didn’t see it when we sat down because it’s dark and under the table. The manager was only concerned with making sure the TVs and neon signs were ok, and never at any point did he or anyone else from the restaurant come by and say sorry or apologize in any way. We didn’t want to make a scene so we called the restaurant later to express our concern, the manager again never apologized, but said “I new about it, I was just waiting for you guys to leave so I could fix it.” So he knew there was a safety hazard yet he let me and my family sit there for an hour without saying anything? And I don’t know many electricians who double as restaurant managers but it seems to me that a licensed electrician should be the one to fix the issue. I really like CM’s food, but I dislike the leadership style and overall concern for...
