Ya habibi, let me tell you — this place is simple but classy. You walk in and boom — calm vibes, soft lights, clean tables. No drama, no over-decorated nonsense. It’s the kind of place that whispers “less is more” instead of screaming “look at me!” Now the food — wallah, the hummus? Creamy like silk. You could spread that on your life problems and everything would feel smooth again. The pita bread? Oh my God, not that sad microwave one that breaks your tooth — no, no. This one was warm, soft, and melting in your mouth like a love song from Fairuz. You can taste the fire — feels like they use a real tandoor or stone oven. Then came the kebabs. I chose the dark meat (because I like flavor, not sadness), and it was juicy, tender, like it did yoga before hitting the grill. Served with basmati rice that was fluffy, colorful, and smelled like heaven on vacation. A little yellow here, a little red there — like the rice dressed up just to meet you. The veggies? A bit al dente for me, but they had that nice char, that smoky “kiss from the fire” taste. Honestly, the plate looked so beautiful I almost felt bad eating it. Almost. Service? Top-notch. My waitress was friendly, checked in a few times, not too much, not too little — just perfect. And food came fast, which means no time to get hangry. But my favorite thing — the decor. Clean white tones, a big elegant light that’s not quite a chandelier but makes the place glow. Big art pieces on the wall, some cultural touches — felt a bit like a modern-day souk met a Mediterranean palace. It’s got soul, ya know? Overall — simple, elegant, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be back. Maybe next time I’ll bring a friend… or two… or maybe just me and that hummus. 😋

Opened for a week, is this Middle Eastern restaurant with koobideh, kebab, falafels, veggies, apps, soups and more. . I got lamb koobideh which is ground lamb mixed with spices and shaped on a skewer and then grilled. I love lamb. The dish is straightforward served with rice, bread, grilled veggies and a slightly spicy house made red sauce. Love the sauce, and wished I could have this everyday! . The appetizer trio is hummus, labneh - a buttery yogurt dip, and babaganoush eggplant dip. The trio is served with warm pita bread. I love this app, and it is appropriate to share at a table. . This is a nice space, keeping the space shape as former Sofra (my fave breakfast joint) and former Grey Plume (my fave dinner joint). The Mazza space is familiar to me, and I feel quite comfortable here. The bathroom is also the same, quite clean and nice. Note, for the ladies room, lights are on motion sensors in the different sections. Each stall and sink area are on different sensors. So just move your arms around and the light will come back on. . As always, there is free 3 hr validated parking in both Midtown Garages. This is a big YES for me because parking is so easy and plentiful. . Lastly during the "trolley" construction, it is a little difficult to drive around this area, causing low foot traffic. But, all businesses including restaurants are open. Show Midtown Crossing and the small business owners some love. Super easy, all parking garages are easy and plentiful places to park, and parking 3 hrs is always free with validation!

First time eating at Mezza. We randomly found it while looking for a new spot to try. Saw the reviews decided to give it a try. We went on a Friday evening around 630 immediately got seated and served. We were given a food menu, no drink menu which is okay reading other reviews it looks like they are still working on it. SO excited to see what comes up in the future. Some of the best customer service I have ever had. They throughly explained what it was we were eating and our server seems like he has a lot of passion. We ended up with an appetizer. Man they were fresh hot and flaky. They were huge too and very flavorful. But the sauce... Woah that sauce was addicting. We split an entree and it was more than enough food for the two of us. Everything was very flavorful. Im not a big rice person. But this rice is an exception. Each bite was perfectly seasone. And again. The sauce! I could just drink it on its own. Seasoning on point. Food was fresh and service was great. Although the squash in the veggies. Man i wish I had more the squash was so good. Definitly a place we will come back to again. With this being new and only open within the month ( I believe it's been just a month) it's outstanding and I highly recommend to give them a try.
