Culver’s — Restaurant in Onalaska

I had a bad experience a few weeks ago when my order had so much salt I actually had a pile from each bag plus a small fry mixed in with the cheese curds and onion rings that I order. The "Shift leader" Carmen sent out coupons and asked that I give them another chance. I used one of the coupons last night and to my extreme disappoint both my orders where not done correctly. Simple sub of sourdough, lightly buttered to a Bacon Butter burger deluxe ($ .50 up charge) and they grilled the lettuce and mayo and it was heavily buttered which made the sandwich gross and uneatable. The fish sandwich special I ordered extra tartar sauce, this also did not happen and was extremely dry. I called the store again and Carmen the "shift leader" was again on shift apologized again offered coupons for the errors I asked that the Store Manager/Owner calls/contacts me. This is just unreal we pay a premium for Culver's and expect high standards with the costs, which in my experience with this store is far from it. At this point McDonald's or taco bell could beat this store for food quality standards. Which is sad...

I've never given any place a bad review because I know that hey, that's life. Things happen. However I am so irritated with my visit tonight. I ordered the 3-piece fish dinner. I will eat the role that came with it and the coleslaw assuming it's not too dry. But that's not really the reason why you buy a fish dinner. My fish is soggy. And the teeny tiny cup of tartar sauce I was given is so oddly small that at first I thought it was butter. My sweet potato fries were originally burnt, and left under a heat lamp where they been became soggy and they just taste old. Not to mention half of them are sitting in a pool of grease from the fish. And to top it off the dinner doesn't come with a beverage you have to buy that separately. I will not be back for a fish...

Good food, and decent service. Drive thru is open and always moves fairly quickly and smoothly. The dining room is closed to the public and in general i would recommend this Culver's. However, that said, I do have to call out a manager there that does not belong in customer service. She was rude and confrontational to a customer over a missing cheeseburger... literally calling the customer a liar in front of many other customers. Very unprofessional, and I truly hope the owner reviews that employees behavior. Like I said, she should not be working with customers, as she is completely clueless in regards to basic and generals rules of etiquette when it comes to...
