Preston's Steakhouse — Restaurant in Oneida

Very nice restaurant from the looks , however service & food were absolutely HORRIBLE! When we arrived there was but 3-4 other tables, we placed our orders, & the dining room quickly filled up. We had 5 adults & 3 children. As we sit & wait for an hour , all other tables receive their food, when they arrived AFTER us. Our waitress (young blonde girl with wave ring & blingy hair clip, don’t believe she ever said her name) finally brings our food to the table. It was cold & 2 plates were wrong. My dads chicken was over grilled, tough as well as cold & baked potato was raw, moms quesadilla was cold , 2 of the burger plates were not prepared how we asked, childrens sirloin was like leather, & GET THIS I DID NOT EVEN GET SERVED AS THEY BROUGHT MY PLATE TO THE TABLE 20 MINUTES AFTER WHILE EVERYONE WAS DONE EATING & WE WERE READY TO GO. (By the way it was a kids chicken tenders plate)

Our waitress told us several times as she was serving other tables, “It’s almost done, it will be right out” I told the waitress , to not worry about it as everyone was already done eating. Another waitress FINALLY brings it out as we are getting ready to leave, & had a snide comment because I no longer wanted it. We were in town visiting & had already wasted 2 hours at the establishment with poor service.

My stepdad had them take the chicken off the tab as he did not eat it, our waitress acted offended we didn’t want to eat something NON EDIBLE!!

We had to literally stand at the front & wait for the check for 20-25 minutes AFTER waitress said she would bring it.

All together, between 3 checks, Spent $70 on horrible food & service , & our waitress didn’t skip a beat on charging me $3 for my drink even though I didn’t even get served. & still had me feeling guilty for not tipping , but why should I when I never got food & still had to pay $3 for the 1 glass of soda I received. Honestly it’s the worst service we have ever received at a restaurant.

We had high hopes but we will probably just stick to the Mexican restaurant across the street like always or possibly even McDonalds as they have better food then the overpriced horrible food & service we received from this...

Went to this steak house to eat to see if this could be a place I could use to cater my wedding of 150 guests so I decided to stop n eat there one night with my husband to be. We knew what we wanted as far as meats for the wedding steak and catfish we ordered it with coleslaw sides mAc n cheese and apples cinnamon. How highly disappointed I was.

The food is bland no flavor. Damn they make seasons for a reason use them. The steak my husband had did have seasons on it but overall chef needs to learn what medium is and we'll done. The catfish was really salty. Mac n cheese worse bagged Mac ever. Coleslaw- need vinegar black pepper- you should just call it a slaw salid cuz there is no fermination. Coleslaw is fermented cabbage. Cinnamon apples y'all left them in the water bath too long need to learn not to use for multiple days they where dark apples was a the chew point.

The servers has no idea what they where doing. I have never seen so much in disorder between servers. I had no idea who was my server. So giving a lacking tip because of the service alone. People who was seated after us got food drinks salad before we did. Was sitting there for 27 mins and no one took our drink or food order. When they did I counted 4 different girls come ask us the same question and check on us. Like for an $70.0 meal you would think the bosses would have their staff trained properly and food coming out the kitchen within a timely manor with it tasting good. The owners of this establishment should be embarrassed about the quality of there restaurant.

Over all a very cute place. Loved the chandalers and the motorcycle.

Just know that parking is minimal and in the back. They have some near the door...

This experience made a perennial impression, extremely dissatisfied. It started with a long wait to be seated, due to lackadaisical waitresses. I was expecting bread, they do not offer bread. I ordered an 8oz steak, I got one you could hide under a drink coaster, the fully loaded baked potato (costs extra) had 1 single serve package of butter, 1 single serve sour cream, and approximately 1 tablespoon of cheese on it. No steak sauce even after asking for it.When I went to the restroom, a waitress used the restroom and left without washing or using sanitizer. I get to the front to pay and she has the empty box (I had asked for earlier) and the bill. The other person with me pulls out their card and the waitress babbles unrelentingly about their card service, never getting to a point. I finally asked, are you trying to say you are not accepting cards. I think it would be a good place to start by telling people from the beginning that they can't accept cards. I will never waste my time nor money on this place again and I would never recommend it, to have my word go out for a place so unprofessional with such slipshod employees. It would be overrated to think it is more than a snake oil establishment with a caliber of staff that is abysmal for lack of a stronger word.
