King Taco # 28 — Restaurant in Ontario

I wish I can give this place minus stars. The line is long and all through out the lines are signs of strict Los Angeles county draconian C-19 rules. Hmmm not a very happy feeling. And if you're that scare of of getting ill, maybe you shouldn't be in a crowded King Taco line and opt to order from grub hub or something. Anyways, should've grabbed a clue when I saw all the solemn masked up faces standing like cattle to the slaughter...Maybe they were smiling, but I wouldn't ever know. After waiting for over 30 mins outside with 6 kids (there were 4 families), we finally walked in. Despite all the red flags, we walked in joyfully thinking this would be a perfect ending with our friends after Sunday service. We walk-in, there's not only a long line outside, but the dining area is pretty full. Everyone was sitting down without a face diaper eating and talking- even people who were done with their food. I asked the security guard if the 6 kids and I can be seated first and he said yes, but he started giving us a hard time about not wearing face diapers. AGAIN, mind you, we were in a packed out long line outside and NO ONE seated inside was wearing one. I don't know what kind of science backs up this type of restriction. I wish King Taco corporation can explain. But as they have exercised their freedom to deny service, our four families as well as many of the other families we know will no longer eat their food and stand in their sad line to be mistreated....

I’m from Vegas and this is always our last stop. We usually order a lot of food because we eat there and we get burritos to go for the next day. I understand their salsas are limited but it has gotten out of control. The worker wouldn’t give us enough salsa for what we had ordered. I wasn’t even asking for extra salsa I was only asking for enough for the food I had paid for. I reminded the man that we had ordered a lot of food and that I was only ordering enough for what I had ordered and he was very rude and said he was only going to give me six and that’s it and I would have to pay for the remaining. I’m not going to argue with this worker for salsa but this is unacceptable and embarrassing!!! I understand they need to limit the salsa requests but they should provide enough for your food. To top off the bad experience with this man we had to clean our own tables because the restaurant was a complete disaster. All tables I mean all tables were really dirty, the restrooms were disgusting. We overheard another customer ask a worker to clean their table and the worker responded with a terrible attitude to wait. I mean I understand it’s a Mexican casual taco restaurant but this is unacceptable. We love the food and again it’s a must when we visit California but this was such a terrible experience at...

TLDR: The security guard profiled my friend and I to the point it frightened other customers.

Food was good, service was fast and the cashiers were pleasant. The security officer working today 6/26/23 7:30pm was not subtle about not liking how my friend and I looked.

He never spoke to us. Just kept looking to the point she nor I felt safe enough to ask other staff if there was something wrong. I am used to people being curious about how I look , it's totally fine. I have also been hassled by security simply because I looked like a problem and I understand the right to refuse service to anyone.

He stared at us so hard while eating, that other customers started to freak out and look at us too.

I half expected pitchforks and torches to come out of nowhere and be passed around.

He stood behind us as we bussed our table and trailed closely as well left out of the door, as if to make sure we were not coming back in.

It is a place I have eaten at number of times dressed the same way after concerts with no issue. Not sure what changed. It is otherwise a nice place I hope it...
