Subway — Restaurant in Ontario

I wrote this review on yelp back in January 2020. I forgot to post it on Google reviews so I’m posting it now.

I had a HORRIBLE experience here on January 26, 2020 from the two female workers.

Subway Store Ontario EHS complaint Jan 26, 2020 incident. The female employee with a nose ring was touching the trash cans and went back to the sandwich station when she saw me walk in. She immediately grabbed the plastic gloves WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS. This is a MAJOR HEALTH RISK because she now CONTAMINATED the gloves on the outside. I told her to wash her hands but she did NOT USE SOAP at all and the handwashing was only for 5 secs. The other female employee on her phone standing next to the register also did NOT WASH HER hands. She said she did, but I know she did not. I told them to wash their hands before making my sandwich, but they said they did and would not do so again. The female employees ignored my request to wash their hands before making my sandwich so I walked out of the store while they made derogatory remarks about me. I was very upset and angry because this has never happened to me before... ever... at any Subway Sandwich store. I spoke to Gabrielle and told him what happened the day prior. He said the female employees told him a different story. He said he would look into it and give me a callback. He never called me back. I don't think he did anything. There was not a manager on duty while these female employees were working, which is against Subway Store Protocols. This is a MAJOR HEALTH RISK AND IS UNACCEPTABLE.

THERE ARE CAMERAS INSIDE THE SUBWAY STORE, SO PLEASE LOOK AT THE FOOTAGE AND LISTEN TO THE CONVERSATION...

The customer service is perfect; beyond expectations...but they need to learn to make sandwiches. I ordered on the app and it gives you the option for 'directions' I asked to take the inside of the bread out. It never gets taken out. I ask for it to be wrapped seperately. It's always wrapped very loosely and my sandwiches always. Always. Always. Fall apart. I ordered peperjack and I got American. I asked for 'less' onion and I literally got one single strand of onion in my entire sandwich. I have tried to give this place many chances because it is the healthiest option during my lunch time and near my job, but this is ridiculous. Oh and just because there is only 1 person in the entire restaurant doesn't mean they should wait 20 minutes to...

The only time to get a sandwich is when the guy is working. He actually fills your sandwich and charges you correctly based off what you're actually ordering. If he's not working you'll be charged for a different 10 cent cheaper sandwich and charged extra for bacon vs the price of the actual sandwich you ordered. Said no to extra bacon and was charged for extra bacon that I didn't recieve...
