Kingz of Crabz — Restaurant in Opa-locka

Was in Miami and my daughter wanted seafood. I found this place online, read the reviews, and checked their Instagram. Seemed like a good find. Per Google the business was open and taking online orders via Menufy. She used her Cash app card to pay for the food. When we arrived the business was closed. This was on 08/12/2024. I have been reaching out to the business and to Menufy since then to get my baby her $58 back. Menufy is responding but they need the business to return their call before they will issue a refund. Seems like an easy fix if you know the business wasn't open. I sent them a couple of DMs to which they did not respond, however they did respond to my public posts on IG. One of the comments states that she would get her refund through the online service but they are not responding to the online service to make that happen. This is horrible business etiquette! I understand that things happen that are beyond our control. This however is unacceptable. The business has still not updated Google to "Temporarily Closed" yet they commented on my post that "due to unforeseen circumstances we are not open at the moment." Make it make sense! Call before you order!!

Last night was amazing. Ty and the family really did their thang hosting a gathering for my brother's 50th birthday. He is a seafood fanatic and we couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate. They decorated, played soothing music, created delicious food (not only seafood but also wings, seafood rice, seasoned potatoes, green beans and mac & cheese that was all was cooked to perfection) made sure our guest was comfortable as well as served their incoming customer without skipping a beat. Not to mention the all out suitable for a King type of cake (which is now his favorite) 😍. All in all we had a marvelous experience and plan on having more events here...

Absolutely amazing! We visited Kingz of Crabs for the first time yesterday and ordered the Amber Special (3 clusters of snow crabs, 6 large crabs, 12 jumbo shrimp, and 1 lb of potatoes) — and wow, it was fantastic!

Everything was super fresh, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
