Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Opelousas

For starters, I've always come to this location every time I'm craving an exceptionally good cold cut sandwich. Every time I've come here, they have had excellent customer service, fast order times, and perfect sandwiches. Tonight, for the first time EVER, my sandwich was not perfect. I ordered the new bourbon roast beef sandwich for delivery, and it ended up arriving with no meat (it's close to closing time, so I know they must be tired, lol). Now, I always say to judge an establishment not only by it's wins, but also how it recovers from "fumbling the ball," so to speak. I called and explained the situation and not only were they kind and apologetic, but in less than 7 minutes I had a new sandwich in my hand and they even threw in a small dessert for the troubles! A++ you guys. Honestly, the best sandwich place in town...

Great Sandwich and Excellent Service

Service: The service was fast and friendly, making for a pleasant experience.

Atmosphere: The space was clean, bright, and inviting.

Main Course: I had The Giant Vito, made to the standard recipe. Since moving from Florida, I've missed having a good sandwich spot, as nothing quite compares to a Publix deli sub. However, this sandwich came close—it hit the spot where 20 Subway subs couldn’t. The flavors were fresh, the lettuce was crisp, the bread soft, and the meats were high quality.

I order from here often,but not anymore! Tonight is the only time I felt disrespected from this place! It only takes one time!
