Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Opelousas

This was one of the worst customer service we have ever had, and we travel the entire USA (literally) working. There were challenges w the ap order and I mentioned this as soon as we arrived and BEFORE they prepped our order. My husband wanted mac and cheese and not french fries - when I mentioned this, Erica (mgr on duty) said “I will do it THIS time but from now on it will have to be whatever the ap order says.” I offered to pay any difference but she turned her back and ignored me. I requested to have extra pickles and sauce for the sandwich and she loudly and rudely said “pickles are on the sandwich! sauce is on the sandwich!” I asked if I could get a cup with a little and some pickles- she replied “We dont sell them - and NO you cannot have any on the side. THEY ARE ON THE SANDWICH!” I then requested blackened ranch since spicy mayo was not “allowed”.

I later went up and asked for pepper and napkins. Another guest approached almost immediately behind me. The other customer received her napkins and a bag before I was provided my requested items.

My spouse and I both observed interactions with other customers and it became evident that her rudeness appeared to be racial. She was overly polite to others.

One of my two pieces of chicken was not spicy Chicken was hot and crunchy Mac and Cheese had a good flavor Sandwich was dry due to limited sauce Would have liked extra pickles

There are NO napkins or condiments available in the dining area.

Men’s restroom needs deep cleaning Windows were clean. Dining Room was clean.

We eat at Popeye’s all over but we will NEVER go back...

Went yesterday with a craved stomach and taste buds ready to eat dinner. Went to this location and line was not long at all. But placing an order took a while. Finally when was able to place the order, we ordered shrimp combo, tender combo, and a chicken sandwich. When we received our order, we asked if we could add the combo to our chicken sandwich. This lady was very rude and told us we had to go around and get in line through the drive through because they didn’t do add ons. Seriously? We left then went to pull order out of the bags and my chicken sandwich wasn’t in there. She hadn’t even charged me for it. After she repeated the order back to me? I don’t ever leave reviews but this was absurd. I’m very laid-back Harley ever complain hardly ever have anything bad to say about anybody until my experience at this establishment. I will definitely never be going back to this rude so...

Before I left to go my husband said he doesn’t go to that Popeyes anymore because of the attitude with the food. I ordered my food it took three tries because Clydia either couldn’t.t hear me or just couldn’t.t hear. When I got my order I told her I noticed she didn,t have a jalapeño on my order. She told me I didn,t say jalapeño. I said I Did say it, maybe you didn,t hear me . She went back and forth with me, in the meantime another customer was getting his order and he asked what was in the box, she said it’s what you ordered. He asked why she was being so rude. So there was both of us getting hood rat service at the same time. And to put icing on the cake, I paid for a pepper and Clydia did not give it to me. I will never ever ever in life set foot or mouth at this Popeyes for all the days of my life. BTW, they only change their grease twice a year. A little...
