Five Guys — Restaurant in Orange City

4 Feb 2023: They have free 🥜... So if you're an elephant, not only will you enjoy the wait for your order, you'll also remember your experience really well. I ordered a burger 🍔 ... And it came exactly as requested. Tasted great. Ordered fries🍟, asked for them to be cooked WELL DONE. That's the only thing about Five Guys I don't like... Unless you order the fries WELL DONE, you tend to get white-ish, limp fries. YUCK. But once you know this, you're next order is enjoyable. Golden brown goodness, ready for dipping in genuine heinz ketchup. If you like to dip your fries in mayo... Well, maybe there's a pill to cure that 😁

In short, Five Guys rocks! The food is fresh, the quality and service are excellent and always consistently consistent! Every meal and every restaurant I've ever visited whether here in the USA 🇺🇸 or overseas like in the Netherlands 🇳🇱 it's exactly the same, right down to the refillable beverage selection, heinz ketchup and peanuts. If you've ever traveled abroad, you know that free refills, heinz ketchup and American cheese is almost non-existent. Five Guys is an international phenomenon!

My only recommendation to the franchise and corporate management is that you guys absolutely need to offer considerately-priced combo meals, all inclusive of burgers, fries and drinks. It's kind of a shame that two meals cost over $30. It's a hamburger... It's a damn good one, but it's just a burger. Fries are cheap, soft drink syrup (per serving) is cheap... The cost of peanuts is, well, peanuts. This is the reason for the 4 star review. Overall meal value isn't what it should be.

Please give me a thumbs up "like" for this...

I have frequented many Five Guys locations around Central Florida and other states for years. I look forward to the delicious food, friendly faces, and the fun musical environment.

The Orange City location has none of these things. They will almost routinely omit some of the toppings I request for the burger (both my friend and I had missing toppings on our burgers). The fries, which are salted to taste, were so salty at this most recent visit that they were practically inedible.

There is a specific formula in the way the fries and other food is made to achieve the award winning taste that Five Guys is famous for. The amount of salt used in this most recent visit 4/8/24 WELL EXCEEDED any other location I've dined at.

The employees here almost never smile. They look absolutely miserable (yes, it's quite visible and we're watching). If you're unhappy working at Five Guys, please go elsewhere so your poor attitude doesn't ruin it for the rest of us.

Finally, I've noticed that this location seems to prefer playing depressing alternative music. I'm sure this not only dampens the mood for anyone unfortunate enough to eat in the dining room (they rarely have more than 2-3 groups of people in the restaurant when I've been there) but reinforces the negativity of the employees.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this location at all costs. I would happily drive 30 minutes out of my way to eat at ANY OTHER Five Guys location instead...

Love the food. Takes forever at this location after ordering. Tonight I ordered 6 sandwiches for the family and I should have checked the bag before leaving because when I got home there was one missing.

While I waited for about 30 minutes for my food three dine in customers came back to the front for a remake or because someone didn’t get one of their sandwiches (it was a bunless burger). Should have been a warning for me but I never had anything missing before.

I drove 24 minutes home and we munched on the delicious fries (they always throw way more in the bag than what you pay for) and didn’t think to count the sandwiches, mainly because the extra fries were thrown over the top of the burgers and made it tough to dig around and count them.

I was order 76 today at 7:14pm

I called the store when I got home and realized what was missing. I spoke to the nice manager who was apologetic and said I could bring the receipt back and get refunded…and I guess that’s all he could do. One family member had to eat cereal for dinner lol.

I’ll go back someday and if I remember this receipt I’ll get refunded. Not sure I want to...
