Saigon Sizzle serves very generous portions!! I dare you to TRY to finish the pho!! Don’t worry if you cannot finish… ”to-go” containers are available because this is AWESOME “take out” food also!!!!

We stumbled across this place on the trip back from Blue Springs State Park today. We were hungry and I suggested to my visiting friend from out of State that we look for a Vietnamese place. I was always telling her she needed to try Pho. Anyway, I found Saigon Sizzle and we parked and went in. It is not a fancy looking place, very simple, and clean. The main thing we immediately noticed was that the staff was very friendly. Secondly, they were very knowledgeable about Vietnamese food and, most importantly, they were all very enthusiastic about the food they served, making recommendations and trying to find out what we liked so they could steer us in the right direction. We both chose the pork potstickers and the Beef Pho soup. The food was absolutely delicious! The pork fried potstockers were almost buttery-crispy and the meat inside was so tasty, with an almost delicate and fluffy, melt in your mouth consistency. Absolutely perfect. The Pho soup was totally divine! I am so glad we chose this place because my friend got to try real Pho as I had described it to her. The beautiful, beef stock, enhanced with lovely Asian spices was served over noodles, slices of tender beef, and vegetables, with additional fresh herbs, vegetables, and bean sprouts on top. In short, this meal is one we shall both remember. And my friend is now a Pho Convert! This place may be about 40 minutes or more from my home, but it will definitely be worth a trip there from time to time to enjoy the Pho and potstickers, as well as to try out some more of the nice selection of Vietnamese delicacies on their menu. 5 Stars all around y'all!
