Chili's Grill & Bar 4 1/2 Stars
The menu has a lot of choices. We thought the pricing makes this restaurant very affordable. The food didn't wow me even though it was fresh and we'll plated. The rest of our party however was very pleased with their orders. I tend to order off the lower end of the menu whereas the rest of the family prefer higher end fare. The whole menu is very well priced.
Chili's salad was the best part of my meal (actually, it was 1/2 of my son's salad and there was plenty for both of us). I liked the salad because it has a variety of greens and some added special ingredients that made it one of the best restaurant salads in the last couple of years (we go out to a lot of restaurants... a whole lot).
For sure their chicken tacos could be more flavorful (remember that I am hard to please). I didn't like their beans or their rice (neither were tasty). The beans were a bit over spicy, while the rice was rather bland and a bit on the dry side. What I do to add flavor to my meal is get a side order of Pico de Gallo (preferably with juices) and mix it into the rice, put it in my tacos, and sometimes add to the beans. You should try this. I think you will like the flavor boost!
Our waitress and other employees were very nice.. I apologise that I didn't get her name. We all like our waiter/waitress to be attentive so I should be equally attentive (I normally am very attentive).
The restroom wasn't very clean. I mentioned it to the manager and I noticed that he cleaned it himself immediately, so I commend him for that. The rest of the restaurant was very clean and the interior is nicely done... good colors, nice seating arrangements (a variety to accommodate different size groups).
There was a line when we arrived and when we left (early dinner hour). I like that because to me it usually means that other people like this particular restaurant. I do not like it when a restaurant is empty (empty generally is an indication of problems). So on this point I would say this is a popular restaurant.
The restaurant is in a good location. It is easy to see from the road as it is on a corner lot at a traffic light.
I went through quite a few reviews and think a few of them are rated a bit low because of very minor problems. What I really like is that the owner responds to some of the reviews with a make it right attitude. That is the way to run a restaurant.
Side Note:
Speak to manager at any place you do business if it isn't up to your standards.. In general all businesses should exceed our standards. I find that this Chili's does a very good job overall. I will be happy to return.

Read moreOutstanding Dining Experience at Chili’s – A True Example of Excellence
From the moment we walked through the doors of Chili’s, we were greeted with a warm atmosphere that balanced comfort and energy — a perfect setting for a memorable meal. Our experience from beginning to end was a shining example of what dining out should feel like: welcoming, seamless, and deeply satisfying.
The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every bite told a story of attention to detail and commitment to quality. Our appetizers were crisp, flavorful, and served at the perfect temperature. The entrees were nothing less than divine — cooked to perfection, beautifully presented, and generously portioned. The bold, lively flavors that Chili’s is known for did not disappoint. Every plate that came to our table was a celebration of flavor and craftsmanship, honoring the traditional American casual dining experience that Chili’s has cultivated so well over the decades.
The drinks were just as impressive, if not even more so. The cocktails were vibrant, refreshing, and expertly mixed. Each sip was balanced — neither too strong nor too sweet — capturing that elusive perfect middle ground that true bartending artistry demands. From the salted rims to the carefully selected garnishes, the drink presentation and quality were clearly the result of a team that takes real pride in their work.
Customer service was where Chili’s truly distinguished itself. Our waitress was phenomenal — attentive without being intrusive, cheerful without being rehearsed, and clearly passionate about delivering an exceptional guest experience. She anticipated our needs with precision and made us feel genuinely cared for throughout our meal.
A special highlight of our visit was Manager Don Beto, who personally came to our table to ensure everything was exceeding expectations. His leadership was evident not just in his personal attentiveness, but also reflected in the energy of the entire staff. It’s clear that Don Beto runs a tight, but compassionate ship — one where the employees are empowered to go above and beyond. In today’s fast-paced world, leadership like his is rare and absolutely invaluable.
In sum, Chili’s delivered not just a meal, but an experience. They honored the proud tradition of American hospitality while staying fresh, fun, and focused on their guests. It’s no wonder Chili’s remains a household name. Our visit under the stewardship of Don Beto and his incredible team reaffirmed exactly why this brand continues to thrive.
We look forward to many return visits — this Chili’s location has earned our...
Read moreThe reason for the 4 star on food, it’s fair. To receive a 5 star, you say, WOW now thats really dang good! Not Chili’s. Rarely have I ever said those words when eating at a Chili’s. That’s just standard for a chain restaurant to have when reviewing. So not a bad thing, just not going to earn that 5th unless they start wowing folks. The ribs were not bad. A bit on the fatty side and the sauce a bit too tangy for my liking. Didn’t have a smokey, slow smoked all day kinda flavor you expect from a rack, or in this case, half rack of ribs. The chicken strips always have the “pre-breaded in a factory” taste and feel. You know fresh hand breaded chicken when you taste it. The street corn was overdone and too much going on the exterior to get the real flavors of street corn, or corn in general. The jalapeño sausage was ok, had a tough casing and was not hittin the jalapeño notes I was looking for. You desire that snap, followed by juicy sausage with bits of jalapeño and cheddar just dancing in your mouth…. Didn’t happen. The fries here are always a disappointment. Not cooked well, even when asked to be crispy. If they need an instruction pamphlet on how to cook crispy fries, I’m sure we can see they get one or even google it. The meal took a bit to come out, so maybe being offered chips and salsa to ease the wait pain, would have been smart move. There winner for the saving stars and keeping the rating in the 3’s was the chicken enchilada soup. One, if not their best dish on their menu. The cheesecake was standard and lacking real flavor and wasn’t complimented by the sauce well, because there wasn’t much there. The lava cake was a good 2nd place contender as it had rich and delicious chocolate flavor with some decent vanilla ice cream in the center. The atmosphere was standard franchise location look and feel… Could use a new vibe or freshen things up a bit. Was the meal worth $70… No. Could it have been better, for sure! Was it bad… NO… So I think the conscientious critique on this is 4 stars… That’s a...
