Well, let's see here. I went in on a Monday night and placed my order at 09:18 PM. They close at 10:00 PM. After I placed my order, I took my bag to a table and began to get my self situated, getting ready to dress my Egg and Bacon Muffin Sandwich that I had just ordered after redeeming my survey code on my phone for "Free Fries, Onion Rings, or Zucchini Sticks". At first the lady taking my order, "9 - Serina", my receipt says, argues that the email that Farmer Boys sends you says "on your next visit", which is exactly what this was, my "next visit". So after all that, she finally places my order; I got the Onion Rings. After she brings it to me, I proceed to take a table for myself just to fix my sandwich up, you know , put some ketchup on it. Well, I was right in the middle of doing this when she walks right back up to me and very rudely says to me "My manager says to me that you got to leave or I'll call the cops. It's past closing." This just after 09:30 PM., AND THEY CLOSE AT 10:00 PM. So I finish dressing my sandwich, sit back down on my wheelchair ( I'm handicapped, Diabetic Venous-Stasis Ulcers ) and wheel myself to the soda fountain to refill a water bottle I had with Soda Water, as me being Prediabetic, it is the only thing I can drink. I put the cap back on, dry the bottle off, put it away in a bag I keep over the back of my wheelchair with some other items of mine that I also keep in the same bag, and proceed to exit the store, after grabbing some sucralose packets from the front counter to sweeten the soda water as I always do, most of the time inside of the restaurant without the cops being called on me for no apparent reason, this time outside at my bus stop. Well just as I was leaving, it was only then that I notice the same employee on the phone with the Orange PD. She was saying "He's leaving, but taking stuff as he's going." Which I can only assume was in reference to the sucralose packets that I took to sweeten my soda water, that I always have used to sweeten my soda water at this location, and other locations, without any complaints before from this, or any other locations. I also overheard one of them behind the counter mutter "and don't let him use the restroom" as I was passing the counter towards the door. The cook behind the counter gestured to me with a sideways thumb gesture towards the door. All of this was treating me as though I had somehow done something wrong, without anyone even telling me what it was I had supposedly done to merit this kind of treatment, none of which I deserved. I was out the door just after 09:40 PM. If their official reason for this horrible treatment that I received from them was that they just wanted to close early, then I will make it a point to only give them my patronage at an earlier hour. I suspect, however, that I was mistreated as a handicapped person by management, and if I receive such mistreatment again at this location again, while dining at an earlier hour, I will have A VERY STRONG CASE FOR DISCRIMINATION AGAINST PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, AND WILL HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO FILE AN ADA CLAIM WITH THE U S. JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. I will keep you all posted as I update this review on an...
Read moreI wrote my review and then read past reviews for this location and it seems the staff here has always been an issue! Especially this unprofessional cashier named Fernanda. I first gave my respect and patience but the staff could not do the same back to me. Farmer Boys should be disappointed at the management and staff at this location, but I am disappointed that they have always been an issue and it seems nothing has been done to address the poor delivery of service to customers.
The drive thru cashier was very rude and in a bad mood. She seemed to get upset that I was using a coupon from the app and said I could not use it because it was not valid for a combo order, when I told the order taker I wanted a side order of fries. Even the order taker acknowledged she put it in as a combo. I asked for strawberry preserves for my breakfast order and she rudely said “you mean strawberry jelly.” She said “have a good day” but very rude and sarcastic. She failed to check the accuracy of my order and left out syrup from my bag. When I went into the restaurant to ask for syrup and talk to the manager about my negative experience with the drive thru cashier, the cashier came up to me and started arguing with me and confronting me. The manager tried very minimally to descalate the situation and allowed her cashier to continue confronting me. At no point did the cashier step away to continue attending the drive thru customers and preferred to argue with me. I acknowledged to the cashier that I did not know what caused her to be in a bad mood but she continued insisting that she was not a rude worker despite arguing with me and not letting me discuss the situation with the manager. When I suggested to the manager that she should have her working in the back part of the restaurant to not expose her negative attitude to other customers, the manager told me to not tell her what to do. This manager and cashier have no regard for their customers and their current state, as I am currently pregnant and they still continued an argument with me. At no point did I receive an apology from the manager or the cashier. This is very unacceptable and agitating for a customer and woman in my current state. A higher up representative from Farmer Boys needs to contact me about this very unfortunate situation. The manager and cashier did not even have a name tag on for me to be able to appropriately identify them. Part of my receipt only has a server name of Fernanda. I have never received this type of service at Farmer Boys and am very disappointed and upset at how Farmer Boys permits these workers to represent them. I will be expecting a follow up from a Farmer Boys...
Read moreI feel like the employees working on the register aren’t familiar with their own promotions. And they don’t help out while ordering. For example. I came in before and ordered a special, a farmer boy combo for the price of $6 or so. I came here again last week... trying to order the same thing, but the sale ended which is understandable.. okay. It happens. So I bought the same burger combo at full price. But if the person knew I was trying to get the special why couldn’t the person working the register offered me a different special? They always have specials, I just noticed that. I didn’t know at the time. But why couldn’t they had offered me different specials? Today I ordered a burger that was being promoted on the poster. I’m not familiar with farmer boys. Okay. I’ll be honest. I’m a new customer. I don’t know everything on the menu I don’t know the name of every item on the menu. Okay? So if I’m trying to order the burger that’s on the poster outside the window, why can’t the person offer me a combo . Because apparently the burger on the poster was the price of just the individual burger. I thought it was with combo and everything. Why couldn’t they asked if I wanted to make it into a combo. I would pay extra. That’s fine. But why can’t they do their job? Trying to up sell me the combo. I mean. They work there. Should be familiar with sales and promotions. Should be doing their job. That’s just that. I’ve been disappointed the last 3 visits. All cuz of the same reasons. They don’t help . They didn’t offer deals. I have to learn the hard way by over paying. It’s not hard. It’s easy. Super easy. Try working at a real job. Real...
