Salty Dawg Tavern — Restaurant in Orange

I have no choice but to give a 1 star review. We come in a lot, but the experience tonight was terrible. I tried getting something to eat on the way home and my card declined. I realized the card I was given back was also a B of A card but for someone else. This is even worse because there were only two of us left in the bar. It also took a very long time to get our first drink. We also had to order the same drink multiple times before getting it. Now I have to go without a debit card for days, update all of my auto payment accounts and manage through inconvenience due to lack of focus by an employee. They were more interested in their phone than providing service. We go about 3 times a week, but now I will look for other options.

I tried calling to report the issue and nobody bothers to answer even though i know they are open. Bad...

I didn't really want to give this place even one star but my boyfriend had a chili cheese dog there and he said that it was not bad. I had fries with a Turkey burger and it was way too salty to keep eating! I have never had saltier food... I see it's not just a clever name. The girls serving there had very revealing clothes on. Definitely a dude bar 1000% . I was the only female on there, it felt uncomfortable. I wouldn't come here again. But definitely see why all men, especially old men, stay around and frequent this place. Yikes. But some people like this sort of thing.. so it’s obviously in business for a reason. But if you’re looking for food... definitely reconsider or ask them to lighten up on the oil...

I’ve been coming to Salty Dawg for well over a decade! This is the best bar in Orange County for sure! We come here for our business meetings on Monday nights, and Dominique always has drinks ready and on the bar before we ever even sit down! She knows exactly what we want and never lets the drinks run dry! Running a restaurant/bar is hard people! Kim has always done an amazing job keeping a clean and extremely friendly environment! Oh, and it’s a scratch kitchen, which means all the food is made to order fresh and there’s no premade junk that you get those other franchise sports bars….The food at Salty is always amazing and if you’ve never been before, you need to...
